The Past

Chapter 28

Many police officers barged into the Mystery Mans home. They were able to get hold of the gun and the man himself. The police saw Montgomery on the floor bleeding, he used his walkie to call an ambulance. When the ambulance arrived they took him up on the stretcher and rushed Montgomery to the medical center. When they were in the waiting room, they waited all night to see how Montgomery was doing. About three hours later, the doctor came out to give the group the report.

Doctor: He's going to fine.....the bullet didn't cause that much harm on him and the surgeons were able to get the bullet out before any major damages. 

Wu: Can we go in and see him? 

Doctor: No, he's still sleeping. We put him on pain killer medicine so when he wakes up he won't have any pain. You can come visit him in the morning.

Misako and Robin went back home and invited Wu to stay over for the night.  Misako refreshed herself and relaxed with her mom and Wu in the living room drinking tea. They then heard a knock on the door. Robin opened it to see the police commissioner.

Commissioner: Can I come in?

Robin led him into her home. He sat down with Misako and Wu.

Commissioner: Ok, so we have the guy in custody and we are searching around his home.

Misako: What about Amanda

Commissioner: She is doing fine, she was reunited with her mother earlier this evening. How's your brother?

Wu: He's doing ok, we get to see him tomorrow.

Commissioner: Good to know, alright you enjoy your night and I'll update you guys on the guy.

The commissioner then left leaving Robin, Wu, and Misako to rest.

Timeskip: To the morning

In the morning Wu and Misako went to visit Montgomery in the medical center. They both arrived to see a woken up Montgomery laying in bed. Misako opened the door slowly and entered in the room. 

Misako: Hey

Montgomery turned around and smiled

Montgomery: Hey

Wu: How you feeling?

Montgomery: A little stuffed up but I'm ok, the doctor said I should be able to go home later tonight. 

The three of the them stayed in the room and talked for a while until the doctor came in.

Doctor: Well your tests came out negative, but we couldn't really map out the blood test. There's some kind of demon in your blood. 

Wu: I can explain that.....can we talk outside.

The doctor led Wu to his office so they could talk.

Misako looked at Montgomery's wound and back at his face.

Montgomery: You know I was thinking about you.

Misako: Really?

Montgomery: Yea......I would search all around to find you. 

Misako started to blush

Montgomery: I wanted to say this to you, but I didn't really had the time or confidence to tell you......but

Misako: Just tell me

Montgomery: I love you

Misako looked at him in shock 

Misako: You do? 

Montgomery: From the first time I layed eyes on you.....It's just that.....you were always with my brother and I didn't want to ruin the relationship you had with him. Before you came into my life everything felt silent, but now that your here and in my life, I feel enlightened. I want to show that I care for you in all good ways and to be there for you when you are upset. Through the good times and the bad times. 

Misako sat at his bedside.

Misako: Awhile ago, I had a dream that you and Wu were fighting over me, to see who I would choose.......well I already made my decision. 

Montgomery: Really?

Misako: Yea

Misako got closer to Montgomery leaned in and kissed him. He did not see that coming. She kissed him passionately showing him tender, love, and care. They were into there kissing that they didn't here the door opened to hear Wu come in. Wu stared at both his friend and brother and kept on staring in shock.

I've been waiting to write this chapter for a long while and now I finally wrote it. If that love confession wasn't the best, bear with me here. I didn't really know what to say at that point, but anyway next chapter Coming Soon. Peace ✌🏾
