Chapter 14

A month or so later, Misako was always close to Montgomery and Wu, hanging out with them, drinking tea with them and talking to them. One afternoon, Misako invited the two brothers to a picnic in the park to celebrate their one year of friendship. And I had to say it was quite a moment to remember.

"This is so amazing Misako." Wu said to her. "Yea, it's so peaceful here." Montgomery added on. "I knew you guys would like it....no noise......just peace and quiet." The three enjoyed their friendship lunch together with no distractions at all. Soon they made a special toast. Picking up their water bottles Misako said the following words:

"Here's to a year of friendship. And for more years together to come." With that being said they all joined their water bottles and drank to the toast. With a nearly finished water bottle Montgomery had to use the restroom. Misako told him to go to one of the restrooms in the village. Montgomery got up and ran as fast as he can to make it so he won't cause an accident.

It was just Wu and Misako. It was quiet for awhile until Misako broke the silence.

"So do and you're brother get along?"
Wu answered back, "Sometimes....me and him usually have our ups and downs, but we find a way to settle our differences at the end of the day."

"Oh...well that's what siblings do....if course." Wu later down on the grass. " Well, Montgomery is different, he's not like other brothers......other brothers would love and protect their younger brothers." Misako gave Wu a worried stare. " There's a story behind Montgomery's life, if you want to know what it is, your going to have to ask him."

Misako asked him. " Why can't you tell me?" Wu sighed "Just telling it out loud is kind of depressing for me. Misako just gave him a blank stare and finally answered him. "Oh, well you can't live with that guilt forever......one day your going to have to free yourself."

Wu sat up and drank more of water while Misako was still talking to him. "How do I do that?" Misako looked at him with a smile. "Well.......think about something that will get that guilt out of your mind." Wu looked in space and answered. "You mean like.......you?" After Wu said that Misako started to blush a little. "Well.....that could be one." Misako and Wu sat silent for awhile without any movements. They both looked at the last cookie on the napkin and both reached for it at the same time holding each others hands.

They separated their hands from each other and started telling each other that they should have the cookie. To resolve this Misako picked up the cookie and broke it in a perfect half and shared it with Wu. After eating the cookie, Wu started to find his true courage.

"Misako" Misako looked up ready to hear what Wu had to tell her. "Look I know we've been friends...... for a year and all.....but......I wanted to tell you.......if....we......could." Wu couldn't finish his speech, because he was distracted by Misako's emerald eyes. He took a deep breath and started to speak again, but before he could speak, Misako leaned in and kissed him. Wu felt surprised at what Misako has done and started to grab her cheek and kiss her full on.

After a minute of kissing, Misako and Wu parted and smiled at each other. "Wow.....so what do you say....you know...about our........relationship?" Wu asked Misako as they both held hands. "Yes.....of course...I would love to bring our relationship to another level." With that being said Misako gave Wu a peck on his lips, kissing each other more nd more.

A tree away, Montgomery watched Misako and Wu start their mini make-out session again. While watching, Montgomery started to have true 'little' feelings for Misako. It felt weird, but can it be true. He didn't want to interrupt, so he just stayed behind the tree until he heard them talk again to back.
