Chapter 31

Timeskip: 3 years

It has been three years since Misako was kidnapped and the horrible storm took place. Montgomery is now 33 and Wu is now 28. It was Misako's Birthday, so Montgomery and Wu want to really make her day special. Misako's day started like any usual day for her.

Robin: Morning!!!!

Misako: UGH

Robin: Happy Birthday

Misako: Thank You

Robin: Come on sweetheart get out of bed. It's a good day.

Misako: Fine

Misako got out of bed, showered, got dressed, and went outside to see a special breakfast cooked by her mother. Since Misako had enough time, she decided to share her birthday breakfast with her mother.

Misako: Thanks for breakfast ma, but I gotta go

Robin: See ya hun

When Misako got to work, she went to the back to put her bag in her locker. She was then surprised by her friend who was carrying a envelope in her hand.

Rose: HEY!!!

Misako: AHH!!!!!!!

Rose: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

Rose is Misako's friend. They met when Misako first started working at the Library and they became very close.

Misako: Thank You and I'm glad I didn't get a heart attack from you.

Rose: Sorry, but here....I can't go on with today without saying Happy Birthday and giving you your gift.

Misako: Thank You, I'll open it later......come on help me with these books.

Misako just when on with her day like always. Rose treated her out to lunch and the rest of the day went by pretty fast. Since it was her birthday, Misako was able to leave an hour early. When she reached home, her mother was sleeping on the couch. She quietly made way to her room and took a short nap. When she woke up it was almost six o clock. She went out to the living room to find out that her mother was not on the couch.

Misako: Mom?

Misako waited awhile for her mother to return, but she never did. She decided to open the card her friend gave her. After opening the card, she left it on the coffee table. Since her mother did not return she decided to go see Montgomery and Wu and of course she had to make the long travel. When she reached to the top she saw the gate was open so she decided to go in and she saw one of the shoji doors were open too. Misako then went in and looked around to see the lights were turned off.

Misako: Guys......Wu.....Montgomery.......are you guys aroun-

All: SURPRISE!!!!!!!!

Misako jumped up  to be surprised by her two friends, boyfriend, and mother.

Misako: WHAT? Awwwww, thank you guys. Oh My Gosh.

The rest of the night went really well. There was balloon's everywhere and there was a special balloon with the numbers 2 and 8 (yea, she 28 years old same age as Wu), there was a cake specially made by the village baker, and there were gifts and cards around. Although Misako was happy for everything that her mom, friends, and boyfriend did she felt really upset.

Montgomery: Hey, what's wrong? Today's your day don't be upset.

Robin: I think I know why........is it because of Dad?

Montgomery: Dad??

Robin: Misako lost her father five years ago due to health problems. Probably that's why your upset??

Misako: Yea, but I'll be ok....like you said this is my day.

And for the rest of the night everyone just enjoyed the night, Misako herself had a wonderful time knowing that her mother and friends were there for her to celebrate her birthday.
