The Past

Chapter 7

Ever since the first spinjitzu master toke his last breath, both brothers have actually been spending more and more time together. The first spinjitzu master was everything to Ninjago and especially his sons. He loved them both with all his heart.

Wu and his father we're tight. Nothing could separate them. Montgomery and his father we're the same, but unfortunately to the snake (Great Devourer) the bond between Montgomery and his father broke down. But even through Montgomery's change in personality his father still loved him with all his heart.

Right before their father passed they planned out everything for his funeral, because the people in the village knew that he was getting old and he will take his last breath soon. Both brothers went down to the village and made the announcement to the villagers.

Some cried and some had their heads down. They had his funeral right away. Two guys who were cremakers worked on the first spinjitzu masters burial outfit. They dressed him up in a beautiful kimono. Montgomery went up to the monastery went into his fathers room and seen his fathers body covered in a sheet. Of course Wu would carry him down, but he was still to upset about his father.

Being extremely careful Montgomery carried his father all the way down to the bottom where his brother is. When he reached the bottom, he placed his father in the casket. This was a sad day for everyone in the village. It was raining that day and everyone had umbrellas around them.

They buried him in the same place where his wife was layed to rest. (Their was no tomb stone yet, but there will be one soon).  Everyone said their goodbyes. When it was Montgomery and Wu's turn. Wu went first.

"Thanks f.....for being........with me all the.........the way Dad. See.....see you later." Wu came close to his father and kissed his forehead and stepped back. Montgomery went close. "Thanks Dad. I.....I love you." Wu was shocked inside of what his brother said. Montgomery gave his father a kiss on the forehead and stepped back.

They finally sent his father down. When the other people left Montgomery and Wu stayed where they are. They used shovels to cover the casket. Once they were finished they stepped back and bowed their heads. Suddenly a bright light came out of nowhere and shinned over Wu's face. It was the sun it shinned brighter than ever. Montgomery looked up and nearly got blind.

"What the hell?" Montgomery said. " The sun is shining brighter than usual. " Both brothers had their eyes closed until the light was gone. Suddenly the clouds were gone and the rain was also. But there was one cloud that was in the sky.

A cloud shaped like two people holding hands and their hand up like their waving. "Its......its a sign." said Wu

"A sign?" Montgomery said confusingly. "What sign?"

"The sun that shined is a sign that dad is proud of us for being and taking care of him for all his life. And the cloud..........the cloud means he's with mom." With that being said both brothers started shedding tears and together they stared at the clouds together as brothers.
