Chapter 30

So much time has passed that the next month came and Montgomery, Wu, and Misako had to attend the trial for the guy who kidnapped Misako and Amanda

Robin: Sweetheart....what's wrong?

Misako: I.....I'm nervous

Wu: Don't be nervous.....you are just here to testify on what happened to you and Amanda.

Misako: Yea, but what will happen if I see him again?

Montgomery: Nothing will happen.......you'll be fine 

Misako: Ok

When the three of them entered the village court house everyone was present. In the court room, Amanda and her mother were up in the front. She turned around and waved at Misako when she entered the room. Soon the guy that kidnapped Misako and Amanda was escorted into the court room by a officer. (Ok......that's it.....I gotta stop saying the guy who kidnapped Misako and Amanda or mystery guy.......Rob.....I gotta use the name I gave this character.) He was wearing an orange prison outfit with handcuffs around his wrist. His mother was also in attendance. At 12:00pm the court room was filled with people.  The security guard appeared next to the judge stand. 

Security Guard: Quiet Please.......All rise for Judge Charles

The Judge enters the room and heads over to his chair.

Judge Charles: You all may be seated.......Good Afternoon everyone

All: Good Afternoon

Judge Charles: Welcome to the trial for Rob Murphy.......before we call the witnesses up....... according to the paper work you are listed as Ninjago's Public enemy number one, you have done heinous crimes including, kidnapping, rape, and murder. Now we will call the first witness to the stand, Amanda Drew will you please step forward.

Amanda took a deep breath, got up and headed towards the stand. Amanda sat next to the judge's seat. 

Jude Charles: Ok.....to start off Amanda......where are you from?

Amanda: Right here in the village

Judge Charles: Who is accompanying you today?

Amanda: My Mom is accompanying me today

Judge Charles: How old are you? 

Amanda: 25 years old

Judge Charles: Ok.....Now would you like to tell your point of view of being kidnapped.

Amanda: I was walking home from the store and this car pulled up. No one was around at the time, and I heard someone call me. I looked directly at the car and its driver. The Driver said he recognized me before and that he was good friends with my mom. Since it was dark he asked me if I would like a ride home. I didn't want to be rude, so I got into his car. After a while in the car, I didn't realize we weren't going in the direction of my house. I asked him where we were going and he didn't answer. Soon he started driving up the hill and then I saw a house. He then told me he needed help with something. I told him that I needed to get home, but he kept convincing to help him. So I agreed to help him. We entered into his house. I asked him what he needed help with. Next thing you know I was knocked out.

Judge Charles: He knocked you out?

Amanda: I believe so.....because I woke up the next morning to being in a room and being chained to a bed. Then I saw him coming in the room.  I then heard him asking me a question. I was too scared to answer. Then he started beating me with a belt. Afterwards I felt him carry me downstairs. He laid me down and.......

Judge Charles: And what?

Amanda: He.....sniff......he ra-raped me 

The whole court room went in to shock. Amanda's mother started crying and Robin was there to comfort her.

Amanda: And at that moment......I felt weak.......I couldn't do anything to escape.....I was trap

Judge Charles: Thank You Amanda

Amanda got up and went back to her seat and sat back down next to her mother leaning against her shoulder. 

Judge Charles: OK.......next up witness......Misako (I didn't give her a last name, my bad)

Misako took a deep breath, got up, and went to the stand next to the judge. The Judge asked her the same questions he asked Amanda. And then it was Misako's turn to tell her Point of View on what happened.

Misako: I was walking home from the post Office after picking up a package. And I felt someone pull at me. Then I felt something sharp on my throat. I heard him whispering to me saying "Don't Make A sound." When he told me that I was scared and obviously if I screamed for help......my throat would be sliced. He then said, "Follow Me and keep quiet." I obeyed his orders. We kept walking and walking until we reached the hill where the house was located and we walked up the hill. When we reached the house we went inside and then I was knocked out. And just like Amanda I woke up in with chains attached to my ankles. 

Judge Charles: Did he abuse you? Hit you?

Misako: He did hit me

(And of course ya'll know what happened)

Misako continued telling her story to the judge. As she was done she was requested to return back to her seat. It felt like eternity with everyone being in the court room. Soon the judge got up from his seat and went to the back. Rob sat there waiting. He then turned around to see his mother staring at him. He then felt a tear go down his eye. After what felt like hours of waiting, the judge had finally returned back. He sat back down in his chair and opened in a folder filled with papers.

Judge Charles: The court council and I have reached a verdict.......and we find the defendant........Guilty.......we sentence him to 20 years to Life......Also he will not be located in the village Jail, he will be located in the new prison, Kryptarium Prison.

The whole court room started applauding. The judge used his mallet to calm the crowd down.

Judge Charles: You........Rob have done many horrific things to many innocent people......this is your punishment.......deal with it........ I want to thank everyone for coming out today, you girls....please be careful out there....this trial is now over. Have a good day everyone.

The judge hit his mallet and the crowd started leaving the room. Misako, her mother, Montgomery, and Wu then went outside quickly to avoid the crowd. When they reached outside news reporters were all outside trying to interview Misako. Robin pulled her daughter aside, while Montgomery and Wu tried to push away the news reporters. Once they did, they both joined Misako and Robin around the corner where there was no one around. They saw from a distance Amanda and her mother walking.

Robin: Maybe.....we should be heading home....you need some rest

Misako and Robin then walked away from Montgomery and Wu and started heading home.

Montgomery and Wu then decided to go home.
