The Past

Chapter 26

It was finally morning, Mary had offered Robin, Wu, and Montgomery to sleep over at her house, but they did not get enough sleep. All of them have been up all night trying to find more and more clues on where Misako is. They found nothing. They woke up five in the morning and gathered all the stuff they need for their travels. As Mary was walking the group out, Mary turned to Robin and gave her a piece of paper with the address.

Mary: Here.......again the location is twenty minutes from here.......Good Luck

Robin: Thank you

As they walked off her property Mary watched and waved bye to them.

Mystery Man: GET UP......I SAID GET UP!!!!

Misako woke up to rough shaking and then something hitting her hard on her arm. Misako suddenly jumped up from that unexpected pain.

Mystery Man: Get up...I gotta go out somewhere.......There is a mess downstairs and by time I get back everything MUST BE SPOTLESS. YOU HEAR ME?

Misako just stared at the guy in shock she was to scared to move or even speak.

Mystery Man: I said......DO YOU HEAR ME????

He came closer to Misako and he grabbed her by her arms and shook her around. Misako still didn't give an answer. The mystery Man then took the belt that was on the floor and he started to whip Misako very hard causing her to turn red and get bruises. He then stopped and asked her the same question again.

Mystery Man: I'm gonna ask you ONE more time. Do you HEAR ME.

Misako then gave a small nod to answer his question. He then threw the belt on the floor, grabbed a key from his pocket, unlocked Misako from the chain and left the room. Misako started to sob.

Misako and the girl from the other room were both downstairs and they were both handed cleaning supplies.

Mystery Man: Now I want this whole house spotless by the time I get back, ya HEAR? I'll be back in a five hours and if one of you try to escape-

The Mystery Man pointed towards the gun that was on the table.

Mystery Man: Boom

The Mystery Man then turned away and left.

About an hour of cleaning, Misako decided to once again speak to the girl.

Misako: So.....what's your name?

The girl finally responded knowing the guy was not in the house.

Amanda: Amanda 

Misako stopped mopping and looked up at the girl and took a good look at her.

Misako: Amanda? Oh my gosh.....you're.......you're the girl who went missing not to long ago.

Amanda started to cry.

Misako: Oh no....I'm sorry I shouldn't have-

Amanda: No it's ok.

Amanda then sat at the dinning table and Misako then joined her.

Amanda: I just wanna go home. I'm out buying candy at the store and next thing you know when no is around, I pass out and I end up here........he took me in, threaten me, abused me, and try to take advantage of me. 

Misako looked in shock. 

Amanda: I tried escaping once and he tried to kill me, but instead he kept on whipping me and abusing me and it's just-

Misako: Hey.....we're gonna get outta here........we have to.

Amanda: What's your name?

Misako: Misako

Amanda: Oh, I think I saw you before.....at the old store that was later shut down.

Misako: Yea......I worked there. 

Amanda and Misako then turned around to see the gun on the table.

Misako: We better do what he says or else.

Amanda: Yea.

The girls then got up and continued to clean. 

After three more hours of cleaning, the girls finally were able to get about an hour of R&R. Soon it was 5:00pm and the guy still hasn't returned. Misako got up and went over to the kitchen and opened the fridge to see what was in there.

Amanda stopped Misako.

Amanda: No, If you eat anything in the fridge, pantry, or cabinet, he'll see it's missing, insinuate that we ate the food, then BOOM.

Misako then closed the fridge and went back with Amanda to the living room. At 8:00, the man was still not back. Both girls started to fall asleep slowly.

Meanwhile, Robin, Wu, and Montgomery are not to far from the houses location, but Montgomery and Wu are starting to get tired.

Wu: Twenty minutes? Feels like twenty hours.

Montgomery: Even I'm feeling tired, are you sure we're almost there?

Robin: I think so, even if we were near or far we can't stop now. 

Just as they were about to keep going they all stopped, to see a light. They went closer to the light, to see a window.

Robin: I think we found the house.
