the truth ( joker fan fiction )

Time passes quicker than expected

"You are" Joker said again, but this time with a softer voice. "Something is defiantly wrong with me for saying and feeling this, but I am really happy that you are my girlfriend too."

A look on Jokers face; I have never seen before; appeared and it looked like it was not about to go away. I didn't know what to say, feel or do at the moment. All I know, is that Joker is standing right in front of me, only inches apart, telling me he is happy that we are together. This could be one of his tricks, or it could be he is generally speaking the truth.

I swallow hard before speaking; "I thought that this was just a game.. Part of your plan"

"It was"

"It still is" I said smiling sadly. "This is still part of your plan. You and I have never been a real thing. I don't think it will ever be a real thing either. The truth is, Joker, that you are a madman. Fucking Harley whenever you get horny, blowing up a hospital just to send a message, burning down a-"

I got cut of by Jokers index finger and thumb holding my lips together. "Jamie.. I think I might have fallen in love with you.."

My heart stopped. If it wasn't for Joker holding my mouth shut, I would probably be having my jaw at the floor. D-did I hear right?

"Excuse me?" I tried to say, but it got out more like; "ehphuse mih?"

"I really don't want to say that out loud again, Jamie.. It don't enjoy this, and I am sure you don't either, but lets not let this get in our way. I still got a plan we have to fulfill" Joker says letting go of my lips and dragging me off the door. "I shall go and fix up some things, then we should head to get this plan started. Get dressed!"

And the next thing I know I am all alone in Jokers office...

I walk out the main door quickly and nearly falls to the ground, but (luckly for me) two strong armes catshes me before my head get smashed to the hard, solid surface of the earth.

"Hey, watch it pretty girl" Smileys strong, friendly voice says helping me stand up properly.

"Oh, sorry" I say smiling at him.

"No worries, just try not to get dirt on your pretty little dress!" he says winking.

"Can't have you ruining your makeup either!" Mind says from behind me.

I spin around and nearly falls again, but as for the second time today; Smilys catches me before I can hit the ground. "Jamie, this is Mind. Mind, you know Jamie, Mutes hot sister" Smiley says laughing alittle.

"Yeah, pretty hot, but if you are nearly half as cool as you brother I am flattered to even talk to you" Mind says taking my hand and kisses it.

I was just about to respond when Joker comes and pushes mind of my hand, and grabs me out of Smilys arms. Me being me reacts on the stupidest way possibly; I smash my lips on Jokers.

WAIT WHAT?!

Before I can push away from him; he kisses me back; all while he is smirking.

Before the kiss can be anything more than a mouth to mouth connection the car behind Joker makes a brumming sound. You know, like, broom brumm... And Joker breaks it off.

Joker whispers in my ear; "great acting scills, but not in front of the henchmen, deal?", before smacking my ass laughing loudly then yelling to everyone else; "What are you looking at? Let's get this show started! My fans are waiting"

That was nothing like what I expected the first kiss to be like... Oh, well, it is only a kiss, isn't it.

We all get in the cars and drive off towards... Towards the destination of 'jokers plan, part one' I guess...
