HEARING COUGHS AND SOBS downstairs at three in the morning was not a common occurrence in the Reid residence, after Jasmine Santiago moved in there was more noise in the household, and it was new to Grace.

"Jasmine," Grace says, leaning against the kitchen door frame - tilting her head to the side, she observed her closest friend as she wiped away the tears that were still rolling down her cheeks. "Still having nightmares?" She asks.

"Yeah, I am. How could he do that to me?" Jasmine questioned, and Grace pinched the bridge of her nose. Grace's phone started ringing in her back pocket, but she chose to ignore the constant ringing that was coming from it.

"You might want to answer that, it seems to be important." Jasmine says to Grace, and she gives the raven haired girl a hesitant look. "Go," She pushed and Grace sighed before walking out of the room to take the call in privacy.

"Hello?" She questions, not checking the caller ID on her phone. It wasn't the first time she had stupidly forgotten to look at the caller ID. "Spence, why are you calling me at three in the morning?" She questions, rubbing her hand across her forehead.

"I know you're tired, I can hear it in your voice. But I'm coning to San Diego. We have a case." Spencer says, and Grace freezes up, she couldn't believe it - it had been almost 6 years since she had last seen Spencer and now she was seeing him because of a case.

"Jesus Spence," She muttered, rubbing her head - Jasmine tilted her head as she studied the girls posture. It wasn't the first time the girl had tensed up, but this time it was worse - she was gnawing on her bottom lip, even as close to drawing blood - her eyes had watered and she was clenching her fists.

"Get this done, and then come see me." She says, before hitting the end button and wiping away a single tear that rolled down her cheek.

CARSON SMITH FOLLOWED HIS CLOSEST FRIEND as she descended the stair case towards their college. She hadn't talked a single word, which was unlike the brunette girl. She was always the chatter box of the group.

"Grace, is everything alright?" He asks the girl, and instead of giving him a verbal answer - she rolls her eyes and walks away from him. This was surprising to him, because she never kept her emotions bottled up this badly.

Not like they totally knew anything about what was going on in her mind, Grace and Spencer had always had a complicated sibling relationship. Grace was the one that knew nothing and Spencer was always the smart one, which made their relationship quite jealous and toxic.

Until they were adults, they never got along but now - they were as close as best friends, but that all changed when she left six years ago. She put her criminology book in her locker, and brings out her obsessive behaviour book before heading towards the lecturers room that she was in for her first class.

"What is going on with her?" Alexis Green, the red head behind Carson questioned. Jayden Ross, another brunette took her bottom lip between her teeth, and Dylan Cormac tilted her head to the side.

"God knows, she won't talk to me." Carson says, and Alexis runs her finger through her hair before kissing Carson on his cheek and headed towards her first lecturer's class.

GRACE TAPPED HER PEN AGAINST THE CANTEEN TABLE when she had a spare from her lectures just before lunch, but her peace was broken when a face she didn't expect to see in her College popped in front of her.

"You look engrossed in that book," Spencer Reid says and Grace narrows her eyes as she slips her book into her bag. "Not anymore apparently." He says and Grace rolls her eyes, and snorts in annoyance.

"What are you doing here Spence, you told me you had a case." She says, crossing her arms over her chest and tilting her head to the side - Spence hadn't told her where he was doing this case and she knew there was a murder running around here somewhere.

"Didn't you hear?" He questions, furrowing his eyebrows and Grace cocked a brow. "Another body was just found, it was found on campus." He says, and Grace shoots up ready to sprint to find out who was now found dead. "Grace, where are you going?" He questions, shooting up.

"I'm going to make sure that none of my friends were murdered," Grace says, back - clenching her fists tightly and Spencer pinches the bridge of his nose before standing up and walking with her.

"Come on then, it's best for you to identify who it is - since there was no identification. Only if you're up to it." He says and Grace nods, clutching her books to her chest as the two Reid siblings headed out front.
