Chapter 48

I stood in the BAU building with Hans and Hayley, I sighed fully when I saw Derek in full piece. They had just been on a very exhausting case and I took Alexis with me because I knew she was worried about her husband. My brother. 

"I thought I told you to get this place outta your mind," Said Hotch coming in, he still had a small smile plastered on his face but he was trying to cover it. I felt a smile tugging at the edges of my lips, Alexis was pregnant now. Just a few months after me, that's why she's smiling like a crazy person. 

"I thought you guys would like to see something cute, after all you were working on an exhausting case." I whispered, moving away to show him the twins. He smiled a little as JJ came in and looked at between me and the babies.

She was Hayley's godmother while Hotch was her godfather, Rossi and Garcia were the godmother and godfather of Hans. Emily was basically they're auntie and Spencer was their uncles. 

"Can I?" Asked JJ and I nodded, watching her pick up Hayley into her arms as Garcia came in with a bottle as the rest of the team joined us in the conference room. I felt a small smile tug at my lips. Yep, I can definitely see them all getting over protective over these guys. 

"Here's the bottle for Hayley, I've got the one for Hans." She said to JJ as she handed the bottle over to her, I saw out of the corner of my eye that Derek was smiling widely at me. Good, that's what I need. Not a grumpy Derek tonight. 

 I felt Hans being put into my arms and I took him gratefully as I made eye contact with Alexis who was hugging Spencer, I nodded telling her that it would be fine and she took a deep breath. "Spence, I have to tell you something." She said rubbing the back of her neck nervously. Spencer looked down at her as he was a couple inches taller than her.

"I'm pregnant," She whispered but Spence still heard, I saw a large smile form on his face.

"I'm going to be a dad?" He asked a little loud making everyone turn to the couple, and Alexis nodded pushing a stray hair away from her face. Now Spence isn't one for PDA but he did kiss her right there and right then. 

I gushed at the couple before looking at my now crying babies, which totally ruined the moment between them. They both laughed at the fact that the babies were crying, probably to say 'stop it, our innocent eyes'.

I saw Morgan picking up the baby carrier and we waved to the team and then walked out, Morgan linked our arms together and we walked to the elevator. He wrapped his arm around, pulling me into him when he saw people looking at me like I was a piece of meat. 

He gave them one more glare before we headed down once again, not thinking about anyone else when he pulled me in for one long kiss before pulling back and looking innocent in all of this. Protective.
