Maya carried on looking at me as I looked over Cole's file, She was sitting on Reid's desk as Reid also looked over the file. I sighed before closing the file, "Private talk, right now." I said and she nodded, before jumping down of the desk and I grabbed my stuff and walked out.
Morgan caught my arm, "Are you okay? You seem... Distant?" He asked, I looked back at him before lightly kissing him.
"I'm fine, I promise," I said before walking out to catch up with Maya, she smirked and I sighed.
"You go out with him?" She asked me, wiggling her eyebrows. Making me slap her head and she groaned and rubbed the back of her head. "Always was the violent one," She stated and I again sighed.
"Why did you ask the BAU to join the hunt for Cole anyway?" I asked her as we got to the lift, She pushed her hand through her red hair as her blue eyes started to tear up. "Maya?" I asked her, that's when I realised the team was one short, "Where is Serena?" I asked her.
"S-She's in hospital, She's in a coma because of Cole. One by one he's coming after all the agents that put him in prison. That includes you mama bear," She said and I gasped.
"How?" I asked.
"I'm no profiler, but your just a tiny bit showing. If you want to keep it secret for a little longer you might want to wear something baggier." She said and I glared at her, But Serena is in hospital due to this son of a bitch.
"I can't believe him," I scoffed at the thought of Cole. I couldn't believe that he had put Serena in a hospital bed. She was the more vicious one and knew how to protect herself, unless it was a blitz attack.
"He blitzed attacked her when she was walking down the street. In broad daylight," Said Maya. This made me mad, Him blitz attacking her was such a cowardly attack to do, he should've done it right up to her face, instead he hid behind something and then jumped her. It's sick.
We went into a little cafe and I ordered two coffees, one black and one flat white with a lot of sugar in it. "I'm guessing your team don't know about you ever doing undercover work?" Maya asked me and I shook my head.
"It's better that they don't, it keeps them more safe." I said and she nodded in agreement.
"But you know after this case, they will know that you've been undercover?" She asked and I nodded as our coffees were put in front of us. I gripped a hold of my coffee cup, "How am I supposed to protect those guys from getting hurt from Cole?" I asked.
"The only thing you can do." She said and I raised an eyebrow at her.
"Tell them the truth," Maya said as she drank her coffee, leaving me chocking on mine.
