Two weeks that's how long I had to sit in the office with Garcia, Morgan and Hotch had refused blandly, that they both didn't want me out on the field because I'm pregnant. Which I guess, made me kinda mad but I understood why they did it.
They want to keep the twins alive, and being out on the field with a lot of dangers is not how we keep them alive and healthy. Derek entered the office tired with the suspect, that did a runner from him, holding him by his cuffs. Throwing a crooked smile in my direction before pushing him into an interrogation room before walking back out.
"I need you right now babygirl," He said groaning as he walked over to me and I opened my arms out to him, in which he dove straight into them and I hugged him tight. Poor, Poor big baby. I chuckled to myself which caused Derek to look at me like I was crazy.
"I'm going to marry your crazy ass one day," He whispered and my eyes widened in shock, in which Morgan just gave me a slight smile before nudging his head back into my neck. Before I could say anything, I was taken out of my seat and thrown over his shoulder, "Come on Blondie, let's go for a walk." He said smirking and I punched his back hard, but it didn't affect him.
I grumbled some words under my breath before giving in, I knew I wasn't going to get off of Derek's shoulder anytime soon. About 5 minutes later I find myself being placed on the seat of our car and him pushing my seat belt in and then leaning down and kissing me lightly, just pulling away before I deepened the kiss.
"Your such a tease Derek," I hissed and he nodded, smirking.
I crossed my arms over my chest as I looked out the window as we drove in silence. He then turned up the radio, and I heard my favourite song playing over it. I looked over at him, "You made a request?" I asked him and he nodded.
"This is for someone close to Derek's heart," Said the man on the radio and I looked over at Derek as he put his hand on my thigh. I blushed lightly as I looked back out the window and waited till we got to where we were going.
We pulled up in the beach and I looked out to see that there was a candle light table set up in the middle, the car's ignition went off and Derek undid my seat belt before opening his door and then opening mine for me.
"Why aren't you a gentlemen?" I asked him with a small smile on my face. He kissed my knuckles lightly before interlacing his fingers with mine. When we got closer to the seats he pulled out mine for me before sitting on his own.
After we have had our dinner, I looked out onto the beach and then looked back at Derek's seat but he was gone and I looked around for him, and then I looked down to see that he was on his knee.
I covered my mouth, as I felt some tears come down my face, "Grace, we've know each other for at least 9 months, at the start we had our fair share arguments but I love you and I don't think I could ever hate you after everything." He said.
"So Grace Serena Reid, Will you marry me?" He asked and I took a deep breath.
"Yes," I whispered before kissing him lightly as he put the ring on my ring finger. "I love you, so much." I whispered.
"I love you too babygirl," He whispered back as he kissed my forehead.
