Abi knocked on my door and I looked up to meet her worried gaze, "Abi? What's going on?" I asked her, now standing up from my desk, covering the amount of files I had still to do.
"There's been another killing, The BAU are already there but they want us there as well." She said and I nodded, I grabbed my gun and we both headed out of my office, I shut the door and switched of the light. I grabbed my set of SUV keys from the bowl that stood outside of my office and headed out to the car park.
It was silent, Abi had her head against the window as we drove to the new crime scene. I took a glance over at her, "Nervous?" I asked her and she nodded. Abi was supposed to be getting married in a couple weeks time but she has pushed it forward because of this case.
"It's just that, I'm nervous to be married Shawn," She said and I looked over at her again and put my hand on hers.
"Don't be," I said, she looked down at our hands before smiling. "Remember, my mum got married and they split. I know you and Shawn won't do that. You two are meant to be together," I said and she wriggled her eyebrows.
"Like you and Morgan then?" She asked and I almost chocked on my saliva.
"How do you know that me and Der-Morgan went out?" I asked, looking over at her as she smirked at my slip up. I glared at her as she bit onto the inside of her cheek to stop herself from laughing.
"He told us, He misses you, you know." She said and I sighed before carrying on driving is silence before pulling up to the crime scene to find corner taking the decomposing bodies of old citizens. "Well that is totally of his MO." I stated as I crushed my fingers over my nose.
"And it totally stinks," Abi stated also crushing her bridge of her nose with her fingers. I tried to look for Hotch, I finally made eye contact with him and he nodded at me. Rossi appeared beside him and Morgan, Prentiss and JJ all came up in front of them. JJ was pregnant this surprised me but I knew that she would be a great mum.
"So if Grace is alive, where is she?" Asked Emily looking at my boss. I bit down on my lip to stop me from laughing. Abi was trying also to keep herself from laughing as Hotch noticed the both of us.
"Reid! Carmec coming towards you in 5!" Shouted Rene from the other side of the crime scene and both me and Abi turned to face the criminal just in time for me to be thrown right across to my boss.
"Shit," I whispered as I jumped back up, "Well that was rude Carmec," I said crossing my arms.
"No one said I had to be nice Reid," He stated before running again.
"I'm after him," Said Abi, running straight after him. I looked after my agent as she ran to catch up to him, I knew JJ and Emily were both looking at me with goofy smiles while Morgan and Reid were shocked.
"Careful Abi!" I shouted after them, as she nearly tripped over a five inch tree branch sitting in the middle of the road, She then jumped over it like it was nothing. "To think I trained her to do that," I said rubbing my forehead. I then felt someone jump onto my back and hug into me, their brown hair falling onto my shoulders, Emily.
"Your hair's nice blonde, but don't think I'm not mad at you," She whined, and I let out a chuckle.
