silence is loud
silence is comfort
a friend of many that offers shelter-
to the weary hearts battered by the loud and sharpened words
silence is addictive
like hallow of darkness that pulls you down until everything about you is encrypted
silence is too, might be, your greatest enemy
your nemesis
a villain
a traitor
but whatever it is
the truth is revealed when spoken
but sometimes there are things better left unsaid.
