My Knight In Black Converse (Cashby)

The Outside World

Alan's POV

I never really explore the outside world. The only time I get to go outside is when I'm going to Kellin's house which is rare and that mean the guards have to protect me at all causes. This is the first time I'm going outside. By myself! 

I sneaked out of my house without getting caught. I texted Kellin to meet me outside of my house. Since it's my first time going by myself alone, well I have Kellin, and there's gonna be people around I have to cover myself. I wore a Metallica shirt with ripped jeans and converse. I knew that I blended perfectly with teens cause that's they normally wear. I threw on a black sweater and off I escaped from the back. 

I saw Kellin and went up to him. "Hey Kells. How do I look?" I asked. He looked at me. "I'm sorry. Who are you?" He said looking up and down. "You seriously don't know who I am?" I asked. "I'm serious." Kellin said. "Oh." I said sadly. "I'm just fucking with you, Alan" He said and started to laugh. I started to laugh. "Come on. Let's go to the mall." He said. 

We walked to Kellin's car which was at his house. "Where's your mom Kellin?" I asked. "We don't talk about that." He said. I knew his mom was drunk and sleeping with a guy at his house. I didn't ask about his dad. Well cause he didn't see his dad that much. "Get in loser. We're going shopping." Kellin said. "Did you just--" "Quote Mean Girls? Yes. Yes I did. Now get in" He said and I started to laugh. 

After about 5 minutes we made it to the mall. "Wow. This is so cool! I'm getting to experience this as a normal teenage boy!" I said and Kellin giggled. 'Yep. Now let me take you to my second home" Kellin said. We walked to the most amazing store I've ever seen. Hot Topic.

I stared at it and Kellin noticed me. "Well. What are we waiting for? Let's go!" He said and we walked into the store. I looked around the store and wow. It's so amazing. They have all these cool shirts and pants and sweaters and it's just heaven for me. "Go look around, Al. I'll be over looking at the band tees." Kellin said. "Ok. I'll be over there" I said walking to the shirts. I looked around and found something I liked. "Woah. They have a Green Day shirt!" I said to myself. I went to look for my size. "Wow. There's more bands." I said and grabbed like about 10 or 15 different shirts from all different bands. I spotted Kellin and walked to him. "Hey, Al. You're done picking out shirts?" He said. I nodded and put them on the counter. 

I saw Kellin grabbed about 5 shirts and he put them on the counter. I payed for our stuff and before we left the counter the worker called us. "Um. Aren't you Alan Ashby? The son of king and queen Ashby?" They said. "Um. Nope. I think you're confusing someone else with me." I said. "Oh. It's cause you and him are redheads. My mistake." They said. "That's alright" I said and we walked out.

"Phew. That was close." I said. "Too close. We need to be more careful or else." Kellin said. "Yeah I know." I said. We walked back to the car and went to Kellin's house. I heard my phone ringing. "Alan Ashby! Where on earth are you?!" My mom yelled at me. "Mom. Chill. I'm at Kellin's house. I forgot to tell you." I said. "It's okay. Next time call me or text me where you're at. I was worried and was about to send a search party." My mom said. "Okay. I love you mom. Bye" I said. "Love you too,Allybear" My mom said and hanged up. 

When we to inside I had another idea. "Hey Kells?" I said. "Yeah?" "Can we go out again?" I asked. "Where you wanna go?" He asked me. "Park?" "Why the park?" "My mom used to take me there when I was little and I used to have like my own secret place there." I said. "Oh. Well then. Let's go" Kellin said and again we left his house. 

We walked to the park and I speed walked to my secret place. "Al. Wait up!" Kellin yelled and I giggled. We made it to my secret place.  It was a beautiful garden that I made myself. The only way to get in was through a big tree shrub. Nobody ever went into because it was so perfectly blended in with the park. 

Inside was a bench and a blanket and there was also a tree. It wasn't really a tree. It was a fake tree and that's where my acoustic guitar was. "Alan. This place is amazing." Kellin said. "I know. It's like my other home. It's peaceful and you get to hear the birds singing." I said. "I would love to take Vic here on a date one day." I heard Kellin said. "You can." I said. He turned around and smiled. "Thanks Alan. I'll make sure this place doesn't get ruined when we have out date." He said. 

We sat on the bench and enjoyed the peaceful day. A hour later we decided to leave my secret place and head to my house. Once we got to my house we entered. "Kells. I forgot my bag at your house." I said. "Don't worry, Alan. I'll swing by and drop it off ok?" He said. "Okay" I said. We went up to my room and I lied on my bed and Kellin sat on my chair. 

"Had fun today, Alan?" Kellin asked. "Yep. Thanks for today Kells." I said. "Your welcome and that's what best friends are for." He said and hugged me. I hugged him back.  I let go and lied back on the bed. I started to get sleepy and feel asleep. When I woke up, Kellin was gone but my stuff from Hot Topic was here and a note. 

Alan,

By the time you read this I'm already home. Anyways here's your stuff you bought. I hope you had fun and hope we get to go outside again! I sneaked in and out of your room. I almost broke my foot from jumping out the second floor. Haha. Ok. Love you bro.

P.S. You look so adorable sleeping  haha. I might come back later to visit and eat. 

I smiled. My best friend is such a dork. I hope my dork gets to date with this Vic guy and I hope he has a friend he can introduce me to. That would be amazing. I feel back asleep cuz I'm tired as fuck and dreamt about my future mans.
