chapter 20

Okay I woke up really early to get ready for the first day. I don't want the oyhrt kids to pick on me again so im wearing my supreme hoodie with a pair of leggings and my all black slip on vans. I pulled my hair up into a bun and walked to my bookbag to find it empty then I looked at my Gucci bookbag it looked full. And it was. I walked down to find chirstina and Corbyn standing in the kitchen.
Christian-"hey nugget how did you sleep?"
Kayla-"pretty good."
Corbyn-"you got everything?"
Kayla- "pretty sure?"
Zach-"Waite! Kayla we have to give you this."
Daniel picked me up and gave my a hug passing me on to Jonah, then Jack who kissed my cheek, then to Zach who put me down.
Corbyn-"to the car." I waved bye to everyone and me and Corbyn walked to the car. We took the long rude to me old school. When we got there we went time we front office.
Mr Wilson-"well welcome back Kayla." Mr Wilson is the person who helped me with a lot if things.
Corbyn-"is there anything I need to do?"
Mr Wilson-"are you her care taker?"
Corbyn-"yes."
Mr Wilson-"well just fill this out while I take Kayla to her class."
Kayla-"bye Corbean."
Corbyn-"bye nugget." I quickly hugged hum and followed Mr Wilson to my class.
Mr Wilson-"how are you liking your new family?"
Kayla-"I like them I have a mom and four uncles."
Mr. Wilson-"wow well see you around kiddo." I nodded and walked UN the classroom.
Mrs. Mckenny-"You must be miss Besson take a seat." I nodded and took a seat in the back.
Clabe-"well hello."
I turned to see my one and only friend in the whole world.
Kayla-"Clabe I didn't know you were in this class."
Clabe-"well I am so yea did you get adopted?"
I nodded.
Clabe-"that's awesome, I got cupcakes for lunch wanna go half and half?"
Kayla-"you know it. Hey I got pop tarts."
Clabe-"we have a nice lunch. Hey you mind if my friend Cameron played with us at play time?"
Kayla-"you know how I feel aboutnew people.."
Clabe-"please."
Kayla-"......fine."
Once the class was over we went to music. We sing and learn how to play different insterments I play cello in that class and it is very fun I haven't told Daniel that play cello but im going today. Im working on a new piece that's much harder than what most of the other kids play.
Mrs. Jackson-"well welcome back Kayla."
Kayla-"thanks Mrs. Jackson."
She went to see that other kids and that class was over we went back to class and got pulled out for ESOL I hate going because I mess quite time but meh. Once I was finish with that i went back to class then we did math and history then went to lunch.
Clabe-"hey Kayla this is Cameron, Cameron this is Kayla."
Cameron-"aren't you the girl who got adopted by the why don't we boys?"
I nodded.
Cameron-"my sister is a bug fan and she thinks you are cute."
Kayla-"thanks." this kid is cute.
Cameron-"my mom made beans you guys want some?"
Clabe-"YEA!"
Kayla-"BEANS!"
We sat a table and ate beans, cupcats and pop tarts for lunch then we went outside and played around then some fifth graders came up to us.
??-"are you Kayla."
I nodded.
??-"im a big fan of-"
Clabe-"she doesn't need any more friends!"
Cameron-"Leave!"
They pushed the girl away.
Kayla-"thanks guys."
Clabe-"any time."
Cameron-"its what were here for right...now we were playing a game...KAYLA'S IT!" they took off leaving me behind. After that we went inside and did math and went to car line. I talked to Cameron because Clabe rides a bus.
Cameron-"that's me mom see you tomorrow Kayla."
I waved and he left I saw Riley's car and walked to it.
Riley-"what's up girly how was the first day back?"
Kayla-"it was okay."
Riley-"well we're gonna dance and ill take you have and you eat some good food and the day will be great."
I smiled because she was right. We made it to the studio and we got started. When we were done she tookme to my new house. It was nice but a little to big for four people. I walked to the door, I rang the door bell. Corbyn came to the door.
Corbyn-"how was school?"
Kayla-"it was okay."
Corbyn-"did you make any friends?"
Kayla-"yea I made one friend his name is Cameron."
Christian-"ooowww he must be cute."
Corbyn-"no dating until you in high school."
Kayla-"okay. Imma go do my homework."
Christian-"wanna snack?"
I shook my head.
Corbyn-"oh and were having guest over so if wanna you can come and hang."
I nodded and walked to...Waite I don't have a room. I just looked for one that had most if my stuff. I found it and went inside and sat on the floor looked thought the boxes for my iPod and charger found it and played some music and did some homework some crafts and then started to unpack my room I have my own bathroom. I put all my clothes and shoes away and i found my plushie Mechie she's a black cat with blue eyes. She has been with me for all my life I keep her in my....OLD BOOKBAG THE NOTEBOOK! That note book has some pretty dark things in it but its all in Spanish so if anyone went through it they might have couldn't read it. It was around six when I heard people. I changed out of,my dance clothes into the clothes I wore to school and walked down.
Corbyn-"hey Nugget."
I waved and went over to him.
Corbyn-"this is Christian's mom dad and brother."
Granny-"oh my goodness she's took cute and her eyes are beautiful."
Pa-"what grade ate you in?"
Kayla-"Third."
Uncle(I don't know Christian's brother's name)-"wow, so your on the big kid hall."
I nodded. They sat down in the living room and I went to go see what Christian was doing.
Kayla-"can I help?"
Christian-"could you set the table for mama, please?"
I nodded andto the stmtuff the dining room, Corbyn came in a helped me.
Kayla-"thanks papà."
Corbyn-"your welcome."
When we finished the food was done we sat down and ate and the adults talked I sat there zoned out eating my food. I started to think about Cameron. When dinner was over I said goodnight to everyone went to my room and got ready for bed. About thirty minutes pasted and Corbyn came in.
Corbyn-"okay we all good?"
I nodded.
Corbyn-"sweet dreams nugget." he kissed me forehead. And walked out.
Kayla-'hey mom I just wanted you to know that I moved into a new house and I made a new friend and I like him. I really miss you now more than ever after all its come closer to your 25th birthday. I had big plans but now I...I love you mom and i want to see you.'
I cried myself to sleep that night...
