Two years later
God I hate school, I mean it's fun and all but the homework, I'm only in the fifth grade. But today after school I get to dress up and me, mom, dad, the boys and Karson are all going out to eat to celebrate my four year adoption anniversary. I can't believe that four years ago I was adopted that's a long time. And in that time I gained a dad, four uncles and a little sister. Karson is  two and she's the cutest I love her so much but she like to steel my chicken nuggets and that's not cute. But I can't be mad at her. She has blue eyes like dad, and she has brown curly hair like mom and looks just like mom.
Cameron-"Kayla, are we hanging out after school today?"
Kayla-"not today I have family stuff today."
Caleb-"okay way to make me feel lonely."
Kayla-"what are you talking bout?"
Caleb-"you two dating?"
Cameron-"WHAT?! who told you that?"
Caleb-"umm...everyone...because you two are you guys always hugging and holding hands."
My face turned red. I thought no one would notice. I didn't tell anybody.
Kayla-"well...I guess we are."
Cameron-"yea...I guess we are." We walked to car line and I saw Dani's car. I waved bye to the boys and I told Cameron that I would texted him later. So we started dating in fourth grade because we just really liked each other so one day he asked me out and I said yes.
Daniel-"Hey, Kay-bay, how was school?"
Kayla-"long."
Daniel-"we are leaving in an hour to go to dinner so dress nice." I nodded.
Kayla-"Do you know if Karson is coming?"
Daniel-"well the last time I checked she is if your mom changed her mind then I wouldn't know." I nodded and texted Melissa. She is a friend I made in fourth grade because we sat at the same table. She is apart of the group and she is also Mexican.
Me-hey you feeling any better
Lissa❤️😂-yea I'm coming to school tomorrow
Me-yay
Lissa❤️😂-yay, how munch homework do we have?
Me-not that much but you have a bunch of make up work, I'll texted you the notes we took in class

We made it to my house and I told Dani I would see him later. I walked in the house and Karson was standing at the door. I picked her up and walked to the kitchen and grabbed us some juice, this was a everyday thing with us. Then we walked up to my room and I played some music.
Karson-"Kaia, can we get chicken nuggets?"
Kayla-"not yet Karson, where's mommy?"
Karson-"her room, I go see her." I picked her and took her to mom and dad's room. I knocked on the door.
Kayla-"mommy, you awake?" She came to the door in just her underwear.
Christina-"yes, come on Karson, Kayla go get in the shower, please." I nodded and gave her Karson. I walked to my room and grabbed my red dress and high top convers that were white. My dress was short and  puffy. I got my underwear and other things. So at the end of thrid grade I had to start wearing a bra and I hate then so much so most of the time I wear sports bras but to night I have to wear a normal one. I took a shower washing my hair. I got out a blow dried my hair. Then pulled it in to a ponytail, I put on my bra, mom says I'm gonna be big chested but I don't wanna be. I plugged in my flat irons and started to brush my teeth and wash my face. Last week I got braces and they hurt. My bans are white and black. After I finished I got dressed and did my hair. I walked down and saw dad walking on from outside.
Kayla-" I thought you were picking me up today?"
Corbyn-"I was but then I had to go pick up your gift." Every year I get a gift last year I got a gold bracelet, the year before I go a to go to Mexico I took Cameron with me since he had family there Zach went with me.this year I don't know what I'm getting.
Kayla-"okay." I went to Karson's room and got her bag ready. Then took it to the living room. Dad went to go get dressed, everyone was meeting here so I was on door duity.
Karson-"KAIA!" I went to go see what she wanted.
Kayla-"yes ma'am?"
Karson-"We can eat chicken nuggets?"
Kayla-"I don't know."
Karson-"will you fix me some?"
Kayla-"no we are going to get so different food."
Karson-"but I want chicken nuggets."
Kayla-"how about you get chicken strips."
Karson-"what's that?"
Kayla-"it's like a nugget but longer."
Karson-"okay." I heard the door bell ring and I walked to the door with fat-momma in my hands. It was Jonah.
Jonah-" hello, family."
K/K-"hey Jonah." Jonah took Karson. I walked back to mom and dad's room. I knocked on the door.
Kayla-" Jonah is here." Dad opened the door. I'm still pretty short so he picked me up and carried me down stairs.
Kayla-"Dad, I'm not a baby anymore." I wined.
Corbyn-"I know, your ten years old."
Kayla-"Yes." Jonah walked in and picked me up and threw me over his shoulder.
Kayla-"Jonah~"
Jonah-"ready Karson."
Karson-"YAY!" he picked up Karson and ran out side with us. We laughed the whole time. But then the door bell rang.
Kayla-"Jonah I have to get the door." He put me down and I walked me to the door. I heard the other boys and they each have me a hug, but at the end of the line stood Cameron... CAMERON!...
