chapter 24

*Corbyn's POV*
NEXT MORNING
I woke up to see if Kayla- was ready for school. I opened her door and her bed looked like no one had slept in it for hours, I checked her night stand her iPod and iPad were gone along with the chargers I ran to my room. Her window was also open. Her iPod and iPad where gone. And her bookbag. My heart started pounding, I ran to my room and gradded some shoes.
Christian-"baby, where you going?" She said in a sleepy voice.
Corbyn-"Me and Kayla are going out today before I have to leave." I had to lie she couldn't know the truth. I walked out and went to my car. I drove to the end of our neighborhood. I opened a tracking app and tracked Kayla's iPod, she was at a house 2 miles away from my. I started driving to the house wondering if she was safe this could be another kidnapping episode but I didn't want to assume things. I pulled up to the house rubbing my hands on my pants to try to remove some of the sweat that sting. I want to the front door knocking twice then I heard footsteps. A small boy came to the door what you confused look on his face.
Caleb-"Are you Mr. Besson?" I nodded answering this question. He motioned for me to come inside and follow him to a room. He brought me to the room where I saw my daughter sleeping on a bed I was very confused of why she had been here.
Caleb-"she tried to run away but luckily we talked her out of it but she's very hard headed and stubborn." I nodded reaching down to grab her. I think the boy and walked out I will call in the backseat starting the car and drove towards home. She started to stir in her sleep recognizing her new surroundings. Finally she woke up.
Corbyn-"Morning." She gasped and sat back.
Kayla-"Morning." She didn't look at me but out the window.
Corbyn-"talk."
Kayla-"I have nothing to say but sorry."
Corbyn-"explain." I've never had to put a foot down on Kayla and for this to be the frist time it is very hard to because she is not a bad kid.
Kayla-"I wasn't thinking."
Corbyn-"was it because of that girl at school that you did this?" I looked at her, she didn't return the action. But she simply nodded.
Corbyn-"Kayla you scared me, I thought you were kidnapped or worse. Imagine what it was like what it would have been like if Christina would have found out." She didn't say anything.
Corbyn-"She doesn't know and I don't want her room know, but you are going to be on punishment for two weeks so I'm taking your iPod and iPad for a week. When I go on tour I want you to be the best child in the world for your mom and I don't want to hear anything bad from her, okay?"
Kayla-"yes sir." The rest if the ride was quite. We made it home. Christina had an appointment so she won't be home til later. Kayla went to her room after giving me her electronics. I hate thus so much, but it's something I have to do...

So I know that I haven't updated and I should have but I have been working on some other things that I think you guys will like, but I will post another chapter in a few hours and the frist chapter in my new book please forgive me and I hope you guys still are enjoying this book. Also in the next chapter we are gonna do a time jump so don't be confused by it. Thanks.
