Lucy and Pete. Were lost without Beckie. She brought lots of happy memories to them. They wondered when she would return. Was she missing? Was she kidnapped? Questions just questions came to mind. They wanted her back today. She was theirs forever.
Pete had drawn a picture of her and put it on a poster with a heading of missing. Lucy and Pete placed them around town and in peoples letterboxes. This was OK for now but soon they would have to be taken down.
The next morning Lucy and Pete went out shopping. All the posters had been replaced with the same picture but with Wanted across the top. This was wrong. Somebody was after Beckie. They had to get to the bottom of it. For now they could only phone the police but then Beckie would get into big trouble or they could take down each and every poster.
This is what they did. Many friends and family members got together and they started to take down the posters individually. This was a long method but it would work.
