~Chapter 19~Happiness~

~Elizabeth's Pov~ 

I was able to lay in bed with Meliodas for the whole morning. He was keeping me close to him. I had my face snuggled into his chest, my hands also into it. He had a hand on the back of my head and one on my back. "Elizabeth..." Meliodas whispered causing me to look up at him. He had his eyes closed, his face showing he was in serious thought. "We'll find a way to save you..." he whispered, his grip on me getting tighter than he has ever done in a long time. I only smiled as he opened his eyes, looking at me. 

"I love you" I spoke causing him to smile at me. He then turned us to be laying on top of me. My back now on the bed. Meliodas had taken one of my hands, holding it tightly while his other hand was right next to my body, helping him balance above me. "I love you more than anything" he replied moving his head closer to my own. My face burning up ever so slowly. I couldn't help but smile brightly as I could. He always was able to make me truly happy. "Elizabeth..." Meliodas whispered, moving his head even closer to mine.

"You are everything to me. You're my happiness and light. I won't lose you to them...I won't let them hurt you" he whispered a serious look in his eyes. I was slightly shocked but Meliodas soon moved his head once again. This time pressing his lips to mine, pulling me into a deep and passionate kiss. My eyes closed, kissing back. I was enjoying every bit of the kiss. I ended up moving my free hand onto Meliodas's cheek. I felt both mine and Meliodas's hands slowly making their grip tighter. 

"YO CAPTAIN!" we soon heard Ban shouting from downstairs, forcing myself and Meliodas to pull away from the kiss. Both of our breath slightly faster than normal. "I'm going to kill him" I heard Meliodas muttered keeping his head so close to mine. I laughed slightly moving the hand I had on Meliodas's cheek to his shoulder. "I would really prefer to keep going..." Meliodas whispered as I noticed the lust in his eyes. I only bit my bottom lip, trying to hold back a huge smile. I knew Ban would've called Meliodas for a reason.

"Don't lie, you want me too" Meliodas whispered moving his head into my neck, planting kisses. I only bit my lip harder, utterly enjoying every bit of the kisses. I felt my face heating up even more as we heard knocking at the door, followed by Ban shouting 'Captain'. Meliodas pulled his head back, looking really annoyed. "Stay right...like this" Meliodas muttered before moving off me and to the door. I couldn't help but smile moving a hand on my chest to feel my heart racing. I was hearing Meliodas threatening Ban to leave him alone for an 'hour' or so. 

I was able to feel Meliodas's rage and bloodlust from where I was. I turned my head to see Ban looking pale at the doorway. "U-understood Captain" he spoke fast before rushing away from the door. Meliodas closed it, calming down the aura around him. I only giggled getting him to turn around and look at me with a smile. "There wasn't any need to threaten him like that" I spoke as Meliodas walked back over to the bed. Though I was hurting and the pain was getting worse, I couldn't help but enjoy the moment. 

"We are about to head to the Demon Clan's territory...no matter what you are not allowed out of The Boar Hat" Meliodas informed me as I only nodded. Meliodas soon sighed mumbling how Ban was being a 'cockblock'. It only made me laugh. Meliodas started to smile as he sat next to me on the bed. He grabbed my hand as he was informing me of how he had to help the Sins fight. "I know, it's fine" I only replied, getting Meliodas to kiss the back of my hand. His smile only grew along with the worry in his eyes. 

"I truly am a lucky man to have you...Elizabeth" he whispered gaining me to smile even more. My face burning up even more along with it. I was just able to reach up and place a hand on Meliodas's cheek once again, getting him to look at me. "I love you" I whispered, my eyes watering as I hated this. I hated being the one to always hurt him, be used to cause his suffering. I truly hated it. Meliodas gave off a small chuckle. "I love you too" he replied, bending down slightly to plant another kiss on my lips. 

He truly was the only one who could give me this much happiness.
