Unfamiliar Frames

As soon as Bumblebee rolled in trying to catch up to Prowl, he regretted leaving so soon. The scene was a mess.

The battle was taking place in Sumdac tower's outside parking lot area. Blown up road bits littered the streets and the scientists and robots from the tower were running as far away from the scene as possible.

Bumblebee first noticed Lugnut, as huge as ever, picking up cars and streetlights and tossing them around as if they weighed as much as a penny.

A roaring sound roared in Bumblebee's audios and he looked up to see Blitzwing in jet mode zooming through the sky with his canons poised and shooting at the ground where many of those police humans were shooting their own artillery back.

Bumblebee was about to intervein when a huge sonic boom erupted behind him, blowing the little bot forward and crashing on the street.

Bumblebee dazedly glanced up to just catch a glimpse of Starscream's frame rocketing through the sky away from his position, a slight cackle being heard.

Bumblebee growled and turned to the center of the battlefield to see the ringleader of all the chaos.

Megatron.

The warlord himself was shooting his fusion cannon at Sumdac tower, breaking windows and reducing entire floors to rubble. They were obviously trying to nab something from that building.

​Bumblebee slowly got to his pedes and groaned. Ow, that sonic boom is definitely gonna leave a mark, he thought.

Bumblebee then felt his frame be pushed to the side by a powerful force, sending him and the attacker crashing to the ground and skidding across the parking lot. Bumblebee pushed at the attacker and kicked them off his frame. Bumblebee jumped to his pedes once more, fists transforming into blasters.

"Hey, what's the big idea-?"

​Bumblebee gasped at Prowl who had shoved him out of the way of an incoming blast from Blitzwing, who was now making a turn in another direction above. Prowl was lying on the ground, clutching the area where Bumblebee kicked him. A steaming crater was left in the street where the blast had hit, Bumblebee winced.

"Ack! Sorry, Prowl. I didn't know it was you." Bumblebee reached down and grabbed Prowl's servo pulling him to his pedes. Prowl clutched his helm and nodded at Bumblebee.

​"Don't worry about it." He said, "Our backup is coming soon."

​The charge of a blaster sounded from their right and both bots turned to see Megatron pointing his fusion cannon right at them, a small grin plastered on his face plates.

​Bumblebee swallowed, "Perhaps not soon enough."

​As soon as the cannon fired, a pink light enveloped the plasma energy, inches from Bumblebee's face plates. Bumblebee turned to see Ratchet holding out his magnetic fields and holding the blast away from the two bots.

​Ratchet growled, "Well don't just stand there, run!"

​Prowl whipped out his golden shurikens and threw them at Megatron's face plates. Megatron growled at the pain and took a step back.

Megatron shouted behind him, "Lugnut, get them."

​Lugnut quit throwing cars and turned to Megatron. "Yes, anything for you, glorious master!"

Lugnut charged at Prowl, who leaped over the huge mech's helm and landed on the other side. Lugnut stumbled around clumsily, throwing punches randomly. Bumblebee jumped around dodging all the blows.

​"Are those supposed to hit me, big guy?" Lugnut growled in anger and swung harder.

Bumblebee and Prowl continued to dodge until several blaster shots hit the ground at their feet. They looked up to see Blitzwing transform mid-air into his robot mode and laugh. His face switched to Random.
