Transformers (TFA) Metal to Scales

Familiar Foes

The Cybertronian spaceship was directing itself to face Dinobot island. The winds were picking up again and the roaring sound of the ship's engine was ringing in Bumblebee's ears. At least this one wasn't going to crash!

"Do you think it tracked Shockwave here already?" Sari shouted over the noise watching the ship turn in the sky.

Bumblebee hissed, "Something tells me it didn't just turn for a closer look."

"Maybe they can assist us with trying to find the device that changed us into organics!" Bulkhead suggested.

Shockwave shuffled on his talons, "That outcome is highly unlikely. These Autobots are not like the others. At least, their leader isn't. They are less merciful, and more keen on benefitting their own lives than improving the standards of others like these Autobots do." He gestured to Prime.

"Hm, these Autobots seem like like-minded company." Megatron smirked. Optimus rolled his eyes.

"Enough chatting!" Starscream hissed at the group, "That thing is getting battle ready, we need to move now!"

"Battle ready?" Lugnut cocked his head to the side, "How would you know, seeker?"

"You answered your own question. I'm a seeker. Out of all my training, I know ships don't open their side hatches to make a peaceful solution!" Starscream pointed up at the ship, the latches on the side of the ship were indeed opening, opening to reveal...

"Are zose plasma rays?" Blitzwing yelped.

The ship had its plasma rays pointed down toward dinobot island. The vessel was coming in closer and closer through Earth's atmosphere. Soon it would be close enough to land.

"What is the other people on nearby land masses see that ship!" Sari cried.

"Cybertronian vessels usually have a cloaking mechanism so as not to be detected by enemy fleets." Starscream hissed, glancing around the forest for any escape routes.

"Nevertheless, those guns have a wide range of shooting." Optimus chimed in, "If the ship sends an accidental shot askew, it could hit a nearby human settlement."

"Decepticons! Autobots!" He turned to face the others, "We must bring the ship down."

Starscream smirked, "I thought you'd never ask." The violet seeker flared his wings and bolted into the sky. His lithe form rocketed through the air. The Autobot ship shifted in the sky, making its guns follow the seeker's movements as Starscream climbed through the sky.

Bumblebee felt his blood run cold at the sound of the first shot as the plasma energy rang through the air. Starscream barrel rolled out of the way and skyrocketed to the ship. Air gathered around his body as he cut through the sky at dizzying speeds. A huge boom sounded as a sonic boom reverberated off the seeker. Bumblebee ducked at the noise and felt a slight blowback. He peeked and saw the Autobot vessel tilt at the force. Now that's powerful.

The Autobots inside did not seem to like that because a second later, the ship's engines started again and began following Starscream in the sky. The violet seeker smirked as he zigzagged through the air with the ship on his tail, chasing him and shooting plasma rays. Now that the vessel was following him, Starscream nose-dived toward dinobot island, the ship in tow.

Bumblebee gasped, What the scrap was he thinking?

Starscream dived through the air toward the others, plasma rays raining down into the ground. Bumblebee had to jump to the side to avoid one of the blasts. Starscream shouted from above.

"Take out its guns!"

Megatron seemed to understand immediately because he turned to Prime and roared over the engine noise, "Prime! As soon as that ship pulls up, destroy the guns!" Optimus nodded.
