01 Escape

I went home. It's already 2 AM. I can't remember all the details. All I remember is that our naked bodies were on full display. Samantha and I did it. I don't know if things will change after that. Michelle is still on my mind. I can't believe I broke up with her. I can't believe the things that are happening to me right now. Well, Samantha's here for me, but what about Rick? I don't know if Sam still has a thing for me, but she wouldn't do it if she has already moved on. I really miss Sam. To be honest, I loved her and something inside of me is flourishing right now. I really need to get back with her. I am single now and I'm free. I deserve to be happy and I think I'll find that happiness with Sam. I dialed her phone number.

"Caleb? What's wrong?" She asks.

"Pack your stuff, we are leaving" I say.

"Are you crazy? It's 2 AM. Where the fuck are we supposed to go?" She asks.

"We are going to Orlando"

"Really?" She asks.

"Yes, do you want to come with me?"

She didn't answer.

"Sam?"

Still no answer.

"I'll be in my car; I'm leaving at 2:30. Please come with me" I say.

I packed some of my clothes. I will be only there for a week. I need to escape this for a while. I still have money. We will check in a motel there. I left message for Mom that says "I will be out for a week". Anyway, I went inside my car and I'm still waiting for Sam. It's already 2:30 and she didn't show up. I started the engine and then there comes Samantha. She went inside the car.

"This Caleb, are you sure you want to do this?" She asks.

"I want to do this. With you" I say.

She blushed and smiled. I started driving. I put on some music, so that I won't fall asleep.

"Put your phone on airplane mode" I say.

"Why?" She confusingly asks.

"So that no one will contact us"

"Okay"

"So, Sam"

"Yeah?"

"Did you miss me as your boyfriend?" I ask.

"Truth?" She asks.

"Truth"

"No" She laughingly says.

"Really?"

"Yeah, because you were a terrible boyfriend"

"Hey, you said I am the best boyfriend ever"

"Everyone lie Caleb" She says as she laugh.

I kept on driving. She fell asleep, she was leaning her head on the window. I've never seen Samantha this beautiful. It was already 5 AM and I'm very sleepy and tired. I stopped the car on the side of the road and slept.

I woke up, Samantha is driving. I checked the time at it was already 7AM. I look around and we are near. Miley Cyrus is playing on the radio.

"Good morning Caleb" Sam says.

"Good morning" I reply.

"Do you want to have breakfast or let's continue driving?" She asks, enthusiastically.
