31: He Visits Sunagakure

Tsunade woke up.

Tsunade: gomen gomen. Must have gave you a shock huh.

Kakashi:no... Not really...

Tsunade: I heard. About akuyu. She seems to be doing really well.

Kakashi: she did come to see me... To congratulate me... It seems

Tsunade : I see. Ja. I'll be nice and make you a messenger for once to sunagakure so you can meet her. How's that?

Kakashi: eh? Is that ok?

Tsunade: from time to time, I can be nice too!

" Hahaha... that's what kankuro says. "

That laugh... It's akuyu. I never thought I'll be able to hear that again... She's happy.

Temari: you see. I'm not the only one who thinks so!

Kankuro; shut up!! Both of you!!

I knock.

Gaara : enter.

I enter the office " kazekage. "

Gaara: oh. Hatake kakashi.

Akuyu: yo. Kakashi.

A smile. She never used to have that on her face.

Akuyu: alright. I'll leave first.

I came down from the office and saw her waiting for me " kakashi. Yo. "

Kakashi: waiting for me? You never used to do that.

Akuyu: what? Complain? I'm not going to apologise for it.

Kakashi: hai hai. You seem a lot happier now.

Akuyu: I guess... I don't keep up with the scary me anymore. I don't keep everyone at arms length . But I guess that's thanks to gaara. He used to be such a monster. Now everyone accepts him. So I guess it's similar to that. They just accept that it's kind of a job I do. The scaring people.  So I can actually be nice to people.

Kakashi: I'm happy for you.

Akuyu: how about you? Have a girlfriend~

Kakashi: no. It's not like I can forget you.

She could tell I was serious though her question was just a joke. She just smiled " well. You should. You're a nice person. You deserve better. "

Kakashi: you are not worse.

Akuyu: I'm dark. That part of me hasn't changed.

Kakashi: do you have a boyfriend?

Akuyu: nope. I have friends. Just not close friends or best friends. I'm dark. That hasn't changed~ Ah! Pudding. Limited time pudding! Entertain yourself.

She goes off to buy her pudding. She so cute when she's like this. I missed this her. She used to only showed me all her cute antics. I want her back...

She comes back " want one?"

Kakashi: nope.

Akuyu: you're a very picky eater.

Kakashi laughed " what?"

Akuyu: accept what people give you. Someone taught me that.

Kakashi: who?

Akuyu: temari.

I had an urge to stroke her hair... So I did. She was surprised and looked into my eyes. She blushed and looked away " kakashi... I'm not a little kid. "

I stopped " gomen. I can't help it. Akuyu."

Akuyu; hm?

Kakashi: did you ever think about me? Miss me? Still love me?

Akuyu: kakashi. I think they're calling for you to return.

I look to afar. My fellow ninjas stood there waving to me.

Not this time. I'm not going to let go just like that.

Kakashi: they can wait for your answer.

Akuyu: I'm a sunagakure now. That's my answer.
