Soliré Berenko was born in 8 ABY (After Battle Yavin) to Maris Berenko and Ellé (Olie) Berenko in Theed, the capitol of Naboo. She was extremely close to her mother growing up, her father preferring to spend time with her older sister, Thadlé, focusing all of his political ambition into her. Her mother died in a fall down the stairs, sending her father into a flurry of accusations and constant anxiety. He was appointed by Queen Sosha Soruna to represent Naboo in the New Galactic Republic and moved with his two daughters to the capital of the New Republic on Hosnian Prime (it was rumored to get him out of her hair). It was there that Soliré began to notice something about herself, her life changing forever.
She soon became acquainted with Ben Solo, the son of Senator Leia Organa and Han Solo. The two found solace in one another, both being lonely children; when Soliré's father wasn't working, he was focusing his attention on her older sister, prepping her for the next election for Monarch of Naboo while Ben's parents were busy keeping peace in the galaxy. It was thanks to Ben that Soliré finally figured out what her "peculiarity" was. It was during a fit of anger in which Maris Berenko discovered that his daughter was Force Sensitive; the young girl snapping at being compared to her sister. Maris enlisted the help of Jedi Master Luke Skywalker in training Soliré so that she wouldn't bring harm to the people around her. So Luke trained Soliré alongside Ben and the other Padawans. This is where the story begins.
