I wondered why almost all programmer, Software engineers, any professional related to IT wear eyeglasses? Do computers really damage eyesight? Or those professionals only wear eyeglasses just to feel like a genius? Do lights from the screen disrupts the focal point inside the eyes?
There are few answers I found on google that said eyes are like our feet. When it stresses out or experience eyestrain in a long period of time, its vision weakens permanently. But it seems implausible because there are no scientific facts supporting that idea. Most of the answers I have read stated that nearsightedness or myopia is caused by either genetics or lack of time spent outdoors. Spending time inside the house watching netflix or porn, reading erotic novels, or playing sexgames.com on a computer, makes you less exposed to sunlight, which can provide eye development. It requires sufficient time looking at distant objects such as watching girls in bikini running along the beach, to have a good eyesight. However, once myopia is developed, spending outdoors cannot slow its progression. You need to time-travel to the past when you were a kid to warn yourself not to spend more time indoors but must play outside frequently otherwise the chance of acquiring myopia is high.
Nearsightedness is becoming more prevalent in today's technological era because a lot of people prefer spending their time connecting online than going outside to see the alluring waterfalls, smell the fragrance of the flower, hear the songs of the birds, and feel the breeze of the wind on top of the mountain. They do not need to reflect alone, connect with nature and appreciate the works of the Almighty. They rather post their pictures to see how likable they are, check the status of their social networking site to stay updated and watch cat videos. So no wonder their vision gets blurry for not using their eyesight to marvel the beauty outside their home.
