Groom's Side
I was about to go downstairs when I came into a halt in front of Maxine's bedroom. I noticed that the door to her room was slightly open but I didn't get in yet.Tumingin ako sa aking relong pambisig. It's nearly five am.
I could even give her an award for that.
Siya nga pala, if you're wondering where Manang Lucia is, she's in Ilocos.
Sinabihan ko na siyang kahit hindi na pumunta rito tuwing weekends but she insisted saying she just wanna hang out with Maxine.
I really don't have an idea how they got close considering that they are not in the same age bracket. I guess that's how friendship works.
Well, I'm just glad that they are getting along perfectly fine. Mukha kasing pareho rin sila ng hilig. That is Korean-related stuffs.
My maid said that it's the movies, music, food, culture, and the weather that she likes about that country. So that must be it.
Speaking of my maid, yayayain ko nga pala siyang magjogging kaya tumigil ako sa tapat ng pinto niya. I was planning to go for a jog since it has been weeks since I last exercised.
I was about to knock on her opened door when my closed fist stopped mid-air.
Out of curiosity, I peeked through the opened door and found her in front of the vanity mirror still on her PJ's. Her hair was somewhat messy too.
She was holding a hairbrush and she wasn't using it to fix her disheveled hair. And yes, she was singing her heart out like nobody's watching. And yes again, she was using that hairbrush as her microphone.
What the?
She was gracefully swaying her hips as she sang which I supposed is a lively Korean pop song. Then she stretched out her left arm and pointed herself in the mirror. That same hand went up to her hair and mess it up even more.
Still looking at the mirror like she was kind of like in a music video shoot and the mirror serves as the video camera, she gracefully took few steps back, still singing her heart out. She was even doing some headbang while she was jumping up and down for Pete's Sake!
