Both Liam and Theodore woke up to the sound of the girls laughing. Liam walked into the main room and Theodore looked up from the couch. The girls were talking and laughing over a notebook between them. Liam looked at Theodore, "Something tells me I should be worried."
"You're not the only one."
"If either of you would actually bother to ask you'd find out that Caiti and I were talking."
"And I was shocked to find out that you hadn't celebrated your engagement in some way."
"Caiti and I were talking about different things too and yeah."
The girls smiled and the guys looked at each other with concern.
Liam walked over and hugged Anna who admitted, "She knows about us. About our secret. She caught me cleaning and noticed my eyes were different."
Liam nodded and Theodore looked at Caiti, "You going to be alright living with a couple of wolves?"
She smiled, "You're kidding, right? I think it's absolutely amazing."
"Let's go get some of your things today and start moving you in then."
She looked at Liam and Anna, "You're sure you can handle living with me?"
Anna teased her, "So long as you don't ask a lot of questions about what we are, you're fine. Just know that if you treat Theodore badly we won't be so kind."
"And the same goes if he does anything to hurt you, of course, Caiti," Liam added. Anna nodded in agreement.
"He wouldn't hurt me. And I just need to let a friend know I'm moving. No details and she's always respected when I've said I don't want to share something."
"Lyd, right?" Liam asked. Caiti nodded, "I'm glad I remember her name. She's nice. Very shy, but nice."
Caiti nodded, "She's a good friend."
Theodore wrapped his arms around her and picked her up in a hug, "We all need people like that in our lives."
Caiti thought for a few minutes before speaking, "How is it I can go from having no family to suddenly having a family I'm living with who understands and accepts me?"
Theodore smiled and kissed her softly, "Because that's love. I love you."
"I love you," she said, wrapping her arms around him and squeezing.
Liam squeezed Anna's hand and she pressed her back up against him, "We have our own little family. I never thought I'd be so glad to have a family," she whispered.
Liam leaned down and kissed her neck, "How would you feel about extending that after we're married?"
"Let's wait until we're all settled in before you bring up even the slightest possibility of having offspring," she elbowed his side, grinning.
