Kyle's POV

Uncle Lou had just finished telling everyone what happened last night and uncle Haz looked pissed to say the least

“it was Alex wasn’t it”

he yells I nod sadly now uncle Zayn looks just as angry

“Larry Kyle do you want to go see Sarah?”

uncle Haz asks we nod

“Harry are you sure you can handle this?”

uncle Lou asks as uncle Haz nods

“to the car boys”

he yells acting like a kid we run and jump in the car it was a quiet ride we pull up outside the hospital we walk into the waiting room and find uncle li not there we walk down the corridor until we see a nurse

“Sarah Horan?”

uncle Haz asks as the nurse points to a room we ‘fast walk’ to the door and walk in to see Sarah on the bed still out to it and uncle li asleep in the chair

“Liam wake up and go home you need sleep”

uncle Haz says shaking him he wakes up and looks around

“Harry? I thought Lou was bringing the boys?”

he asks looking dazed I laugh for the first time in what felt like forever when really it was just over night

“uncle Liam I think you need some sleep and dads asleep he didn’t sleep much last night so uncle Haz offered”

Larry says as uncle Liam nods

“everyone knows then?”

he asks as we all nod

“ok then I’ll go home and get some sleep bye guys there isn’t much to report”

he says closing the door I turn my head to the bed where my sister was lying looking like she was sleeping but she had cords and stuff all over I'm surprised uncle li could sleep at all with the loud annoying beeping from the heart monitor showing that Sarah is still alive I walk over and sit in the seat uncle li was just in and take Sarah’s hand

“Larry how bout we go get some food and give Kyle some time with his sister”

uncle Haz says leading Larry out and closing the door I look at Sarah my sister my strong brave sister being kept alive by all of these beeping blinking machines

“Sarah I know you can’t hear me but I'm here and I love you please don’t leave me please I need you without you I can’t carry on please Sarah hold on for me”

I say breaking down in tears I quickly dry them as uncle Haz and Larry return it hurts me to see my  sister like this so helpless and innocent.

~~2 days later~~

I wake up to a hand touching my shoulder I look up to see my dad looking down at me a sad smile on his face I get up removing Sarah's hand from mine I hadn’t left her side the whole time hoping she would wake up I stand up and stretch before hugging my dad fresh tears streaming down my face I move from dad and hug mum who was crying I look over at dad

“I'm going to head to uncle Lou’s to get some sleep I’ll be back tomorrow love you”

I say backing out of the room my parents needed some time with my sister just in case she didn’t make it through the week.

I open my eyes and let the light flow in the familiar surroundings or Larry’s room greeting me I jump down off the top bunk and walk into the kitchen to see lexy making pancakes

“Kyle sit down you need to eat before you get sick and end up in hospital to”

she orders I obey without protest she was right I had lived off nothing but hospital food for the last 2 days and I nice home cooked meal sounded really good right now and lexy was a good cook her and Sarah can make just about anything out of the food left in the pantry and lexy’s pancakes are to die for she always made them when I stayed which was basically every second weekend while every other weekend Larry was at mine for our game nights I smile for the first time in ages as Emily runs in giggling oh how I wish my life was as carefree as the little 7 year old jumping up and down in front of me.
