here are some of my dream roles in no particular order:
Anya
Anastasia is one of my favorite musicals and it makes me so happy. Anya is such an inspiring character. She goes through life not knowing who she is and yet she still has hope to go on and find her family. I relate to Anya not in the literal fact of not knowing who you are, but not knowing who you are as in finding yourself.Natasha Rostova
Natasha is literally 👏🏾 me 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 she is so sweet, naive, and young. She's just figuring out who she is. She doesn't know anything really about life outside of what she's used to. She also makes mistakes that end up biting her in the butt and hurting her. Yet she moves on and finds happiness in someone else. Also the fact that a Russian princess is played by a black woman (my idol denee benton) AND she's a classical soprano makes me happy. I would love to play her one day. She means so much to me.Ti Moune
Ti Moune is such a fun character! She's so energetic, young, and kind. She's so inspiring. She takes risks to go follow her heart even though it hurts her in the end. Once on this Island is the most important show on Broadway right now. Also Once on this Island is a show that takes place where I'm from and it makes me happy inside :)))Anna
Anna is such a great character. She's one of the most real out of most of the Disney princesses (in my opinion). She's awkward, funny, kind, and compassionate. She risks her all to save the people she loves. And I relate to her in the sense of her being desperate to find someone who loves her because she feels left out and alone.THANK YOU FOR READING!
