Love Nikki Chapter Summary (more or less)

Chapter 5

Momo tells them that he saw Bai Jinjin look at the bunny suit and ran away crying. Zhong Lizi decides to find her and apologize. The group decides to help him find her. They go to the Tea Cafe first. A waiter blocks them and tells them they saw Bai Jinjin going to the back alley of the kitchen with a friend. The waiter also tells them the alley is blocked and that they must go through the kitchen. They decide to sneak through the kitchen. They spot Neva and demands to know where Bai Jinjin is. Neva asks Zhong Lizi what his relationship with Bai Jinjin is. Neva then speaks with Nikki and she tells her that Neva's master told Neva that Nikki is a great stylist, but all Neva sees is a whiny baby girl. Neva then tells her if she wants to find Bai Jinjin then Nikki has to beat Neva. Bobo then remembers she saw Neva at the Queen Nanari's ceremony and concludes that Neva serves Queen Nanari and her younger brother. After Nikki wins, Neva tells the whereabouts of Bai Jinjin. They find Bai Jinjin, and Zhong Lizi apologizes to her. Lunar then spots a ninja from the Cloud Empire. The ninja tells Bai Jinjin to not disrespect her father and to come back to the Cloud Empire. Bai Jinjin makes a deal with the ninja and tells her if the ninja beats Nikki, then she will go with the ninja. But if Nikki wins, then Bai Jinjin won't go with the ninja. Bai Jinjin tells Nikki that the ninja is Dansu, a famous ghost dancer. Nikki beats Dansu and Dansu leaves them alone. Nikki then learns that Bai Jinjin's father doesn't approve of her relationship with Zhong Lizi and that they eloped (ran away from home to get married). Bai Jinjin tells them that she and Zhong Lizi has to leave. Royce sneaks up on Nikki and the others while they watch the couple leave. Nikki sees Neva next to Royce and asks why she is next to Royce. Royce lies that Neva is his stylist. Afterward, the group meets with the people who are curious about their booth. Nikki spots Timi and guesses that Timi is with her senior. Momo, Nikki, and Bobo learn that Timi still hasn't confessed her feelings. Later, Annabel snatches Nikki away for an interview. Nikki and Annabel come back and Annabel talks about the plot of her manga. Momo asks about the best grilled fish in Miraland and Lunar tells him charcoal from the North Kingdom would taste the best. The group goes to the North Kingdom Booth and meet a North stylist named Kane. Bobo then tells Nikki about Queen Elle and the Iron Rose legion. They see Vivi modeling for the pigeon booth. Meanwhile, the girl and the man back in chapter 2 is seen in Wintermount. Their names are revealed to be Joe and Kimi. Joe and Kimi formally meet Nikki and her friends. Kimi tells Nikki if Nikki beats her then Kimi will think about helping Nikki become a master stylist. After the battle, Kimi praises Nikki but gets interrupted by a masked woman looking to steal their designs. After Nikki beats the woman, they find out she is part of the Iron Rose Legion. Royce comes up to them and greets Kimi. Momo, Nikki, and Bobo learn that Royce is the younger brother of Queen Nanari. Royce offers to go with Nikki but Neva tells him that he promised to go back with her. Royce decides that if Neva beats Nikki then he will go back with Neva. If Nikki wins, Royce will continue traveling and Neva must follow him. Nikki beats Neva, and Neva follows Royce.
