Love Nikki Chapter Summary (more or less)

Chapter 15

(Reading the chapter in the game might be faster than reading this summary, but I'm making this just in case)

Nikki, Bobo, Starlet, and Momo head to the train, and when they enter they overhear everyone at the station talking about Cloud City. Starlet informs them that the station is where many of the people of wasteland read their news from Amphithea. Momo tells the group to hurry up for Lunar's sake. The ticket seller tells the group that the train to Cloud City only stop Rosset City in Apple and that the railroads in Western Cloud City have been shut down. Momo gets upset, and Bobo argues with him. Nikki tells Momo to calm down. Nikki tells them that they should try to go to Rosset City and then figure out how to get into Cloud City. Starlet gets the tickets and tells them to get on. When they arrive, they see that it is extremely crowded. A ticket seller is telling everyone at the station that if they pay 2,000 Starlight Coins per ticket then they will be able to travel anywhere they want to, even Cloud City. Everyone is shocked at the steep price. Bobo realizes that there are no trains to Cloud City and he is scamming everyone. Nikki tells them that they have to find a way to Cloud City quickly, because there are going to be many refugees and she is worried about Lunar. Bobo suggests to take a bus, and Momo shuts that idea down by telling her that since it is a forested area they have to go by train. Starlet suggests that she will go to her master in Lilith to find some help, while the rest of the group find a way into Cloud City. They say goodbye to Starlet. Momo tells Nikki and Bobo that they should find a way to get on the army train. A man runs by calling for a lady. Bobo overheard him earlier, and told Nikki and Momo that he is chasing the lady heading towards the army train. The lady tells the man (Lovina) that she must pick up Nora in Lor River City. Lovina is revealed to be the lady's butler. Lovina tells her that she shouldn't head towards Cloud, and that a fleet is already going to pick up Nora. Nikki asks the lady if she is going to Cloud. The lady wants to know who Nikki is. Nikki introduces herself and Momo and Bobo, and she tells the lady that Lor River City is actually far from Cloud and it wouldn't be that dangerous to go to Nora. She advises the lady to go use the train instead. Lovina agrees with Nikki. The lady tells them she would do it. Lovina contacts the fleet to go back. Momo complains that they only have two tickets and there are three of them. Bobo argues with Momo by saying that they wouldn't ask a cat for a ticket. Nikki tells them to get on the train. A field officer is talking to a women before spotting Nikki and asking why she is in the train. The field officer is revealed to be Zhong Lizi. Momo asks why he is in the train, and wearing a military uniform. They board the train and head off to Cloud City. Nikki tells Zhong Lizi about the lady, and Zhong Lizi tells them that she was the wife of the president of Amphithea Group. Nikki asks about why he is on the train. He tells them he joined the army right when it broke out. He immediately got officer position, because of his great designing skill (totally a necessary skill needed for war). Bobo asks about Bai Jinjin. He tells her that Bai Jinjin's family holds a important part in the Cloud Court. Bobo comments on how they will be separated for quite some time. He tells her that separation isn't as bad as a national crisis, and that Bai Jinjin gave him a silk bag, so he still has a part of her. Nikki asks about any news on Cloud City. Zhong Lizi tells Nikki that the North's Warlord Verdfare's Army is taking over Cloud City. There are three warlord armies involved all from Mt. Till in North. The armies consider themselves unbeatable. Verdfare is the Commander-in-Chief, and Niddhog being the Direct Commander. Bobo suggests if the army in Lor River City could help with the situation, then they will be able to help Lunar. Zhong Lizi mentions something about General Huo Qizhou. Nikki asks what's wrong with the General. Zhong Lizi tells her that she will know when she sees him. He tells the group that he must attend to some military affairs. A while later, they arrive to Lor River City Zhong Lizi tells the group to stick with him. They head to the camp, and they get introduced to the general. Nikki asks the general when they will go to Cloud City. He tells her that he just need to reorganize his army before they can head off. She asks how long that can take. He tells her that it could take a few days or even half a month. Momo complains that it is way too long, and that they need to get there quickly. Nikki, Bobo, and Momo decide to go alone. Zhong Lizi offers to walk them out. Momo complains that the general doesn't want to save Lunar. Zhong Lizi tells Momo that he is just waiting for orders. Bobo gets upset that the generals and officials are only thinking of themselves. Zhong Lizi hopes that Bai Jinjin can convince her father to take action. He asks Nikki what she will do next. She tells him they will find Lunar and find a way to help her. Zhong Lizi gets worried for them. Nikki tells him that she doesn't know what will happen, but all they know is that they have to get there as soon as possible. They head to Cloud City. Bobo sees smoke coming from villages. Momo asks if they saw that the woods and villages were burned down. Momo realizes why General Huo isn't worrying. He had collected all the food to strengthen Lor River City, and abandoned Cloud City. Their driver drops them off in a nearby area since the road had been destroyed. Momo complains about the League Till and General Huo. Nikki realizes that they can't walk there, since it is too far away. The driver informs them about a nearby stable where they can rent some horses. They arrive to Cloud City, but it is surrounded by the League Till. Bobo tells Nikki and Momo to keep their distance, so they won't get noticed. A strange girl goes up to them. Nikki asks who she is. She introduces herself as Cali from Amphithea News. They introduce themselves to her. Cali asks if they want to go into Cloud City. They say yes and that they want to help a friend, and Cali thinks how she can make this into a news story. Cali tells them she can get them in, but she must join them and interview them. Nikki says yes. All four of them go through the sewers to get inside. After walking for a while, they finally enter Cloud City. Cali points out the South Gate of Cloud City. They spot Lunar and Niddhog fighting. They head towards the duel before getting stopped by a a female officer with red hair. She confronts them and they realize she is a Till soldier. Cali informs them that she is Major Ozeca of the Snow Eagle Legion in League Till. She tells them they used to be the Snow Eagle Revolutionary Force. The legion was formed by Yunikina who fought for freedom and peace, but her successor Ozeca is a terrorist. Yunikina was a female general that had her lover, Eagle killed because he opposed the tyranny. She followed Eagle's wishes and overthrew the evil lord of White Stone City. Yunikina has a title of "Icewind Warchant"  which related to a robe designed by Eagle. Nikki asked if they could see it. Cali tells her that it is rumored to be under the frozen ice field in North. Momo tells them that they need to hurry. Ozeca tells Nikki that she needs to beat her. (PLEASE WATCH THE CUTSCENE) After Nikki wins, they go up to Lunar and Niddhog. Niddhog wields his sword and stabs Lunar. Nikki, Bobo, and Momo are horrified. Nikki grabs Lunar from the ground as Niddhog stare down at them. Lunar yells at Niddhog saying "Niddhog, you dare to defy fate!". He smiles and holds Lunar's necklace dripping in blood. He tells her this is her fate. Lunar reaches towards the sky as a blue bird flies above her. Lunar says in tears, "I promised myself to be the greatest designer...to let war cease forever..Sorry...I failed". Her arm drops down. Nikki, Bobo, and Momo are shocked and in tears. They desperately call for her. The mayor of Cloud City stares at Lunar's lifeless body. He gets close and pays his respects for her. The people around them are also shocked and in tears. The mayor stands up and announces that today was humiliating. It was horrible for them to let Cloud City fall and allow North to drag everyone into war again. He tells everyone that it will take a long time to take back Cloud City, but justice will be on their side, and Lunar's spirit will cheer them on. Everyone is upset, even the League Till soldiers. Niddhog steps back, takes his hat off, holds it to his chest, then bows to Lunar. Bobo yells at Niddhog for the reason for the entire war. He tells her off. Niddhog advises them to leave. Bobo tells Nikki to defeat Niddhog, but Nikki is crying uncontrollably. Bobo and Momo encourage her to try to fight Niddhog. Nikki sobs even harder than she was before. Nikki questions how styling contests solve all disputes, but there is still killing. "Isn't the miracle of Miraland is that there is no blood, war, and killing" She cries. Bobo tells her that everyone in Miraland is born with the blood curse. Anyone who uses force will suffer unbearable pain. Niddhog tells them he doesn't believe in the blood curse, and that it's a false peace. Bobo defends by saying there are designers and stylists batting for honor. "The friends and enemies we've met, and the joy we felt after every victory, how could that all be false?!" Bobo cried. She asks Niddhog about the time he won his first contest and how he must of felt something. "Will you let her die in vein?" She said. Nikki then puts Lunar down and picks up her sword. She stands up and faces directly at Nidhogg. "Whether the peace is false or real, I just know that the memories of the time when we were together with Lunar are real...Even if Lunar is gone, her memory lives on forever!" She cried out. Nidhogg gives Nikki the chance to battle him. At the last moments of the battle, Nidhogg uses his special skill, "Dark Verdict" which lowers the score to 10,000 no matter what. The Mayor of Cloud City tells them they should leave, but Nikki keeps on fighting. Meanwhile on the Iron Rose airship, Mela looks down on the burned Cloud City. Ransa looks down with Mela. She tells her that the Cloud Army burned the place themselves. They begin to argue before Sherry interrupts and stop them. Mela then reveals that they are here in Cloud City to protect Nikki. Queen Elle apparently told them to go to protect Nikki. Ransa tells Mela not to question it, and tells Sherry to drive faster. They arrive outside of Cloud City, and immediately look for Nikki. Mela finds Nikki battling Nidhogg, and sees Nidhogg's use of force (Lunar). They are surprised that he broke the Blood Curse. They finally land on the ground. Mela goes up to Nikki and is surprised that she went up against Nidhogg. Nikki, Bobo, and Momo are angry that the Iron Rose is trying to take advantage of the situation. Mela tells them they are here to help, and Sherry takes out a paper with Queen Elle's seal. "For six hundred years, the seven nations have lived peacefully. People who resort to force would be discarded by the world" Sherry says. Since Nidhogg broke that rule, the Pidgeon Kingdom is declaring war on the Leauge Till. Nidhogg accepts the declaration of war. Ozeca thinks that Elle is weak, and they will easily take her down. Mela gives Nikki the "Dawnblade" which is the only thing that can beat "Dark Verdict". Nidhogg is surprised that Elle found it. After Nikki wins, Nidhogg keeps his promise and leaves the Cloud soldiers alone. Nikki tells Bobo that she wants to take Lunar away. A man breaks through the crowd. He screamed Lunar's name. He stares at her dead body. Nikki is about to say something before he interrupts her. He says he has an agreement with her. He falls onto his knees, stroking her hair, and caressing her. A wail can be heard from the sky. The Blue Bird is familiar with the man and named "Blue". Momo remembers Lunar mentioning a blue bird back in the Flower Field. Nikki realizes that he was the man Lunar wanted to see. The man thanks Nikki, Bobo, and Momo and tells them he will take her to Moonlit City. Momo is about to run after him before Nikki holds Momo. The Blue Bird's cries can be heard. Mela tells Nikki, Bobo, and Momo that they are now allies with Iron Rose. Bobo convinces the two to go with Iron Rose despite everything. Mela questions why Nidhogg held back against Nikki. (Probably the darkest line in this game) Ransa tells Nikki, "You think Miraland is an innocent dressup world? Actually, it's much crueler than you imagine. If you can't pick yourself up, you won't even be able protect yourself...". Meanwhile, Ozeca asks Nidhogg why he let them go. He tells her it's his business. She tells her that Dr.Morrison had made "No.7 Reagent" for him to reduce the pain caused by the Blood Curse. Ozeca asks about the man that took Lunar and Nidhogg says he won't be much of a bother.
