Love Nikki Chapter Summary (more or less)

Chapter 12

Soldiers surround the palace. Everyone is confused and has no idea what is going on. Ace tells Nikki to go through a secret exit. Ace tells Nikki that a rebellion is going on, Ace tells Nikki to put on a disguise and that they must leave immediately. Nikki tells Ace that she wants to get Momo and Bobo out too so they look for them. Eventually, they find Bobo and Momo, and Nikki tells them it is a rebellion. Ace tries to look for Royce and Nikki tells them Royce and Neva are in the imperial bed-chamber. They spot soldiers running into the chambers and they realize someone tricked Royce. They also realize none of the rebels are part of the Lilith Imperial Guard. They decide to sneak in. They find that Royce is safe. Royce tells them when he got to the chambers, someone had already taken Queen Nanari. Royce tells them that they have to find a way to get to the Imperial Gallery. When Bobo asks about Nidhogg, Neva gets angry and calls him a traitor. Nikki asks why she called him a traitor. (Note he is not originally from Lilith but from North) She responds by saying that when he gets more power, he gets more greedy. Bobo concludes that Nidhogg lead the rebellion. Royce tells the group about a secret Lilith army that no one except the royal family knows about. They only take orders from the royal family. Royce tells them that there is a casket that can show a hologram of the user anywhere in Miraland. He must find the casket and command the secret army. Nikki finds a casket that Royce was looking for. Royce tells her that the guardian spirit of Lilith lives in it. If someone beats the three casket trials then they will gain the ability to send messages with the spirit's help. Nikki realizes this was how Queen Nanari contacted her the first time. Nikki decides to try to beat the trials. On the third trial, Ace tells the group that one of the Fairytale Concerto suits had a puppet theme. (She is referring to Grice) She knows this because an old friend knew the designer. The suit was one of the last suits he ever made. Nikki beats the trials and Royce uses the caskets power to command the royal force. Royce comes back and tells the group that Nidhogg is nowhere to be found. It seems that he went back to the North Kingdom with Yvette. The casket shows a message, "The crisis of Miraland has just begun. The Miracle Scroll of the Windvale Tribe is waiting for the Chosen One". Momo, Nikki, and Bobo decide to go find the scroll. Ace offers to join. The four of them head to the Republic of Wasteland.
