Love Nikki Chapter Summary (more or less)

Chapter 13

They hop on a train and travel to the Republic of Wasteland. The trip takes them a week. They get off the train and immediately take sight of the scenery and manmade structures around them. They hear lively music and find out it's coming from a bonfire. Ace warns the group to not offend them. Bobo not listening runs towards the bonfire. Nikki, Momo, and Ace chase Bobo. They find Bobo dancing with the men of the tribe and learns the tribe is called Pota. They decide to relax before going to Windvale Valley. They eat a Wasteland barbecue. They spot a little boy eating under the table. He tells them that he is hungry. They proceed to ask him many questions but he won't answer them. After he eats, he asks who Nikki and her friends are. They tell him they're foreign stylists. He challenges Nikki so he can see if she is the great stylist that she claims to be. After she wins, he reveals himself to be the chief's son. The group asks why he was starving. He tells them a bad lady named Ransa earned his father's recognition with her style skills. She became the archpriest of the tribe. She made his father a weird elixir which worsened his conditioned and put him into a coma. She then took leadership of the tribe. He tells them his name is Tuda. He becomes unsure if they are with Ransa and they make him trust them again. Ace figures out that Nidhogg is behind this. Bobo is still trying to convince the group that Nidhogg isn't that bad of a guy and he must have another reason for doing all of this. They all plan to reveal Ransa's true intentions at the bonfire. Later in the night, Tuda confronts her and Ransa tells them that they have to beat her in a styling battle if they want the antidote. After they defeat her, Ransa gives the antidote to Tuda and leaves. Tuda gives the antidote to his father waking him up from his coma. He wakes up and thanks the group for helping him. Tuda's father gives the group a badge and they find out Ransa is part of the Iron Rose Legion. They decide to stop wasting time and look for the scroll.
