Hey guys!! xD very long upload...in all sensees of the term...I'm sorry but it was necessary. This is more like a filler chapter that lets you know more of the past of Elaine, it also lets you have a bit of a taste on what Nahuel's life is really like. This is going to be the only filler chapter so enjoy LOL a lot of things you gotta pay attention to, AND I swear i tried to make it as fun and easy to read as possible XD

Song to the right is a must hear!! It's going to be a major part of the beginning part.

Picture is what I think Lucas's Mohawk looks like :) minus the whole blue star thing -_- i seriously don't know why that's even there LOL

enjoy enjoy <3

When we pulled into my apartment complex, immediately Lucas sought out the perfect opportunity to bombard up with many witty—unwanted—comments on how I lived in the most ghetto part of the town. Like I needed reminding.

“Damn an’ you live all the way in the back?” he continued, leaning forward in his seat as if to get a clearer view on the place, “I heard one of them apartments back there was haunted…or was it the entire buildin’?”

I continued gritting my teeth in the back seat, glaring at the Lucas to the point that I was surprised my gaze didn’t burn a hole in the back of his Mohawk head.

“No, I believe it was the entire building that is haunted,” Nahuel corrected, pursing his lips as he maneuvered the car through the weaving driveway. His eyes flickered up to the rearview mirror, capturing mine. Wiggling his brows he shot me a solid wink before averting his eyes back to the road. Suddenly, a heavy bass pounded out of the speakers in the car silencing Lucas mid-sentence.

“Oh shit!!” his eyes brightened into a vibrant green as his fist rose in the air, pumping in a staccato rhythm. “Turn it up, Nahuel. This is my jam!”

Nahuel let out a hearty chuckle, reaching over to turn the knob of the volume a full 360 degrees. The heavy bass began to shake the entire car, windows trembling as they threatened to shatter. My heart thumped along and my bones clattered in their fleshy prison. I frowned when I heard the voice that followed the unruly bass. A feminine auto tuned voice sang melodically with robotic back singers.

In front of me, both Nahuel and Lucas were really getting into the song, bobbing there head and clapping in sync. I almost found it hysterical, especially when they joined in on the singing.

“Groove slam, work it back. Filter that, baby bump that track.” Lucas sang in a reedy tune, his attempt in mimicking Lady Gaga’s voice.

“I’m so starstruck, baby could you blow my heart up?” Nahuel joined in, his hands drumming enthusiastically on the steering wheel. I swear if I had a camcorder would have videotaped this already. Stuff like this just doesn’t happen every day.

As the rapping section started, the boys let out a howl and fist pumped the air like there was no tomorrow. Bouncing in their seat, they chorused together as if they were in an episode of The X Factor, and had the actual chance of winning. Nahuel parked the car just outside my apartment building but made no move in turning down the wretched music. Then, after what seemed like forever, the song finally finished, and the boys nestled back in their seats exhausted. Imagine my surprise when I noticed beads of sweat gathering at the temples of Lucas’s head, trickling in leisure streaks down to his jaw line.

“Ok, so this is it. You can get off now Elaine.” Nahuel ordered, his eyes trained on my through the rearview mirror, as he lowered the volume to a more tolerable degree.
