Chapter 2

It's been a whole week since the boys have been back in Sydney and I've managed to avoid seeing them in person, thank god!

I decided to text Laura to see what she's doing today because staying inside was literally suffocating me; we decided to go shopping, since we haven't been in forever. Well we actually went two weeks ago but we didn't really buy anything.

I drove by to pick Laura up around 11am-ish and we headed to our favourite shopping centre.

After a couple of hours of shopping we decided to grab a bite to eat at a small cafe just outside of the shopping centre, I used to come here all of the time after school with Luke, Calum and Michael, we'd always get the same; chocolate chip muffins and fresh lemonade. But I'd never told Laura that.

"Darcy?" Laura says, snapping me out of my day dream. "You're in your own little world today, what's wrong?" I sigh and the bell on the door rings as somebody enters and I hear an extremely familiar giggle. (an- guess who;) ) I jump up from my seat and run to the girls bathroom.

I can't go out there. I think to myself. "Darcy what was that?" Laura says barging into the bathroom. "They're here Laura" I croak, I'm not sure why I'm crying. I knew if I saw, well I only heard, any of them again then I would have this sort of reaction. I sighed and unlocked the cubical door and looked up to see Laura standing there with her arms open. I gratefully accept her hug, "come on Darcy let me fix your makeup then we'll go back out there and finish shopping. I smile at her and she wipes off my mascara stains and fixes the rest of my makeup an hair.

We go back out there with my head held high, avoiding eye contact of course, and quickly pay and leave the cafe, but I couldn't help but feel four pairs of eyes staring at me as I walked out.
