He was playing outside with his friends. They played for almost the whole day and when they got tired, Shukra decided to go home.
"SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE HELPED THEM!"
Someone was shouting very loudly, "SEE NOW WHAT HAS HAPPENED! THIS WOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED HAD SHE HEEDED MY WORDS!"
'Had what not have happened?'
Shukra got scared and started running towards the source of the voice.
His mother had helped out a few asuras a few days back by providing them refuge. Lord Vishnu had come yesterday to tell her to give them away, but she had not listened to him. She had refused, then he had asked her to at least leave the home.
But she had refused to give up her refugees.
'Was it Lord Vishnu's voice?'
Starting to get worried he started running faster, he knew the art of controlling his heartbeat, he had learnt it from his father, Māhārishi Bhrigu, otherwise it was impossible to run at high speeds for such a long time.
'It's taking too long, I hope everything is alright, let's just hope the Lord has not lost his temper.'
He was still a kid, so his breathing became faster, and he started to feel a few drops of sweat on his back.
'Let's just hope I reach home before I start panting like a dog.'
His house was almost visible now. He could see the gate and Lord Vishnu, maybe.
As he got a little closer, Lord Vishnu's figure vanished, and he saw who was standing behind him.
'Father...'
When he reached the gate, he got befuddled with shock and anger.
As he looked at her with his eyes wide open, tears trickling down, he said, with a strong, insane anger in his voice, "VISHNUUUUU! I SSHALL... KILL YOU!!!!"*
He could never forget that day. The day Vishnu killed his mother. Just because she had stood up for her principles, just because she had guarded the helpless. Vishnu had killed his unarmed, weak, delicate mother, a woman!
His blood boiled just thinking about it.
"VISSHHHHNUUUUUUUU!!!!!" shouted he.
The wind started to blow, little pieces of rock started to fly in the air.
Such was his power, even now! He was so powerful before, so much so, that he had the power to compete head on with Vishnu.
Jai was coming, a small boy with him.
'The legacy is here, I shall use him and unlock it's true power!'
"Is that the boy Jai?"
"Yes, sir. This is the boy. Kartik."
"Kartik, come here!"
He listened to Shukra without any protest.
"Hold this stone!"
He handed out the Brahmānda Astra stone to him.
As soon as he held it, the stone started glowing.
Shukra stood up, "This is it Jai! Now is the time for vengeance!"
Lightning struck the clouds.
"Boy, say your father's name!"
"V..v...v..."
"V what?"
"V..v..Vishnu....y..y..yasha."
"What?"
"Vishnu Yasha, sir."
The clouds became dark. Shukra had got what he wanted. The Brahmānda astra was his to own.
"Now hand this stone to me, while saying this, 'This is yours.'"
"This is yours!"
And he handed the stone to him, As soon as Shukra touched the stone. It vanished.
"What is this?? Wait a minute, I feel something."
All of a sudden, Shukra started glowing.
"The power, it's MINE!"
He was lifted a few inches off the ground. The glow became larger, almost like a flame, winds became wilder around him.
The glow became purple, and he landed on the ground softly. The glow vanished and Shukra was smiling, coyly.
"What happened my Lord?" asked Jai.
"You are right to call me Lord, now. I have the powers of The Trinity now."
He raised one of his hands towards the ocean and murmured, "Tathāstu!"
A wild streak of power emanated from his hands and travelled towards the ocean, it seemed as if it went towards it's end. As it travelled, it seemed to create a cut of some sorts, as if cutting through the ocean into the Earth.
And then it exploded.
Shukra cackled, wildly, like an asur, so wild it was, that even Jai was afraid.
"NOW! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! YOU ARE DEAD VISHNU AND SHIVA!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
