"What could this three mean?"
Kartik was much more knowledgeable than children of his age, his brother had taught him everything he knew, and he learnt everything with ease, he had good knowledge of Mathematics, History, Mythology, Science and so much more.
Considering his knowledge bank, this riddle on the blue door was really easy.
"Pi and 3, hmmm, is the answer pi to three decimal points or two decimal points? How does it even matter! Even if it's two decimal places, I would reach the next room! Well, let's start."
Door 3.
As it was consistent with the previous pattern, there was no back door behind him and the symbol was not lit up. Also, the room did not change the pattern.
"Have I done something wrong? Is the answer 227? Let's just try this one completely first. Maybe the first riddle was just a tutorial. I didn't even experience any wind in this riddle. Sooo... Door number 1!"
Door 1.
Again, the only thing that was assuring was the absence of the door on his back at the starting of the hall.
"Okay. Let's go, door 4."
Door 4.
The room appeared the same.
"Umm, if the answer were correct I would be in a different room now, so the question is did I use a correct value? I think so, otherwise there would be a back door.... or maybe not, the riddle has just been toughened, should I open door 1 or not?"
This was a tough one, so many decisions at one go for a child, no matter how much knowledge the child may possess, children should not be forced to make such decisions, maybe because they might take the wrong decision and end up harming themselves.
"Okay, I'm assuming that I've got the right answer, umm. So why am I still at this room? Does the blue door hold only one purpose, of holding the puzzle? But the red door didn't work and was not needed. Do the colours of the door have something to do with this riddle as well? Well, the blue colour the door has is pretty welcoming and the red door might have meant stop, do not enter. So I might as well just go through the door."
He walked up towards the door,"What do I have to lose? At the very worst I would be sent back to the beginning of this maze. Well, here goes....."
He opened the door and walked through the light.
And behold, there was a new riddle. There was a green door this time, on it there was a flag. The flag made by the Azad Hind Fauj for India.

"This flag was hoisted by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on December 30, 1943 at Port Blair, Andaman Island

"This flag was hoisted by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on December 30, 1943 at Port Blair, Andaman Island. So, 1943 must be the answer, because everything else won't fit it. Let's try."
Door 1. After stepping in he noticed that the green door was gone, in fact, there was no door now, he turned around to see if his room would be there and....the Green Door was present.
"Oh my God, this is really worrying. But, let's just keep on working. "
Door 9. This time, the green door was on the right, and the black doors were on his back, no, the room was  the same, it's just that he was appearing from different places now.
"Must keep on going forward. This is just to put me off-course."
Door 4. This time he came out of the door he had entered.
"This room is playing games with me, that's ok. I won't give up. I am brave."
Door 3. This time the door from which he entered in the room was the green door. Taking a deep breath, Kartik turned around,"Could it really be this simple?"
He became so excited, he got goosebumps.
"Let's go!"
He turned the doorknob, closed his eyes and ran through the door, pushing it with all his power, owing to all the anxiety that had built up in his mind, not giving caution to what might lie ahead.
He stopped after running for a few seconds. He could hear......flowing water? He opened his eyes. The scenery was breathtaking. It was night time and the sky was filled with stars and the crescent moon, he was standing on grass and there was a contour of a tree, alongside which ran a river.
The adrenaline rush stopped and he started to feel tired. He began walking towards the tree.
'I'm free. Let's just hope there is nothing weird out here.'
It was really dark, so he could not make much out. As he neared the tree, he saw something which stopped him in his steps. There was someone hanging down from the branch of a tree.
"Why did you stop boy? Come on."
"Who said that?" exclaimed Kartik.
"Come closer, my dear. Don't be shy, I'm not going to eat you."
"Who are you?"
Now Kartik was curious, if it were one of the kidnappers, he wouldn't talk like that, but the voice of this person was really eerie and he wanted to maintain caution.
"Come on Kartik, don't you want to know how your brother Rudra is doing?"
His curiosity got the better of him. He walked towards the hanging person. He got as near to him as possible while maintaining a safe distance, so, if and when required, he could run away.
"I am the guardian of this realm. I was asked by Shukra to imprison you in a way so that escape would not be easy."
Kartik was shocked as he caught a glimpse of that person's face in the moonlight. It was white, he had white eyes and his teeth were all bent, long and irregularly shaped.
"You are....the guardian?"
"Yes."
"Is this place real?"
"No. It's a place created by me for my comfort. After our conversation, I'll open up a door for you that will lead you to where Shukra is."
"Really? Thanks mister! What is your name?"
"You don't want to know."
"It's Vetál, isn't it?"
"Well, aren't you a smart and brave child? Most people would be scared of me because of all the things I've done."
"I know for a fact that you are not a bad spirit and all that you do is because of your contract that you are have been bound too, also I know you too are a devotee of Mahādev."
"Har Har Mahādev." said the spirit.
"So, tell me about my brother."
"He is currently getting ready to face Shukra and will be coming soon to get you."
"I want to escape Mr. Vetál."
"Really?"
Kartik nodded his head in agreement.
"Well, if you really insist, after you go through the door I make...."
Vetál explained the plan to Kartik.
"I just have one question I have to ask you."
"Yes?"
"Why are you helping me? Won't it affect the oath you gave him?"
"He told me to imprison you, he didn't ask me specifically to stop you from escaping or not to tell you how to."
"Har har Mahādev, mister."
"Har har Mahādev, child."
Vetál created a door and opened it for him.
"I'll keep this door open for a few minutes in case you change your mind and want to come back."
"Okay."
Kartik stepped through the door.
