“Who were you talking to?” Alina asks me, when I get back to the table we chose for ourselves. I set the chair down, and then sit.
“Some guy” I say. “He had an extra chair he wasn't using. I almost thought he was Harry Styles for a moment. Same eyes.”
“Really?” Alina asks. She cranes her neck to try to see the guy. I look back at his table. He's gone.
“He left, Alina” I say. “And there was no way he's Harry anyway, what are the odds?”
“You're right” she says sadly. “Why would Harry Styles even be in New York?”
“We've got to go, anyway” I point out. “The concert's about to start.”

“Can you do this?” Paul asks me. I swallow, as the stylist lays out my clothes. I can't do this. But I have to do this. I can't hide anymore.
“Yeah” I say. And I know he was talking about the bruise Liam left on my chest, but all I can think about is Harry's solo.
“You can do it, Louis” Niall says. I close my eyes. And then I open them again, because I have to. But I don't want to open them again. I just have to.
“I know” I say. “You're right. I'll be fine.”
I'll never be fine.

This is my last concert. Paul just told me. He's sending me away. I'm a 'danger' to the others.
I don't blame him.
I am a danger to the others.
I'm already dressed and ready for the stage. We're on in twenty minutes.
I'd better enjoy it.
This is my last one.

I can't believe Paul's still going to make Louis sing Harry's solo. It seems like . . . after what happened with Liam, he shouldn't have to go through that too.
