So this was requested by a reader about a week ago... mind you, I strongly dislike Snape with all of my heart, but hey, a request is a request! Imagining Snape looking like the picture above made it much easier to write... Enjoy!

You snapped back awake in Potions, blood rushing back to your brain. "Huh?" The Slytherins laughed from the other side of the room. "(L/N), I expected great impudence from a student like you, but it appears you've exceeded my expectations. Now, tell me, where can you find a bezoar?" "Well..." "What are the key ingredients in the making of Polyjuice potion?" "You see..." "What is the law that dictates how to use antidotes?" "..."

"Do you know anything,( L/N)? Anything at all?" Tears pricked at the corners of your eyes. Hermione put her hand over yours from under the table as an act of comfort, but you quickly stood up. Wiping your eyes, you stormed out of the room.

The class went silent. "Well, after causing such a scene, I suppose I should go find her and issue proper punishments. Go back to your draughts." Snape's robes billowed behind him as he stalked out of the classroom after you. When he turns the corner, he finds you crouched on the floor, eyes red from tears of frustration.

You look up at him, too worn out to be terrified at this point. "I don't know why you hate me so much, Snape, but don't you see how hard I've been trying to pass in your class? You know my father, you know what I'm trying to live up to." His onyx eyes soften for a mere second, but immediately hardened once again.

"Julian (L/N) is an unadmirable failing Auror, Miss (L/N), so I really have no idea what exactly you are trying to live up to." You body shot up with fire and ice. Knees slightly trembling, you stood up and looked at him with eyes of flaming anger and the utmost hurt. "Never, ever talk about my father like that. I don't care how much power you have at this school or even with the freaking Dark Lord himself, but you keep his name out of your mouth." You spat. Turning on your heel, you fled to your common room.

Snape watched you as you ran. Let her go, she's just some stupid little brat. But no matter how much he tried to deny his feelings, he could not. And so he picked up your gold and black scarf from the ground, brushed off his ego, and set out to find you.

The Hufflepuff doors swung open as Snape strode through, stopping right at your figure crying on the ground, seemingly a habit of yours. You froze, for the cold and dour Severus Snape has spoken to a student in a soft voice for the first time in Hogwarts history. "(Y/N), stand up."

Shaking, you were shocked at the use of your first name but stood up to meet his stare. "I crossed the line. I know I shouldn't have went there, but I did, and I now apologize for that. Please, you're one of the brightest witches of the year, can you find forgiveness in that golden heart of yours?"

He's a teacher... but when have I ever been one to care about the rules? You responded with a kiss, pushing his shoulders back to the wall and working magic on his lips. It was a heated moment, running fingers through hair and soft breaths in between. You stopped to put your head on his chest. "20 points to Hufflepuff..." he muttered, giving a rare smile.
