2 weeks later

Sahar and I were walking into my apartment when we heard screaming and crying coming from the Dolan's apartment.

"What do you think is happening in there?" Sahar whispered.

"I don't know. . . Should we like... listen in or something?" I whispered back.

She walked to their door and put her ear to the door. I rolled my eyes and joined her.

"You know what, I'm done. I'm done with your lying and your bullshit and we're done." Meredith cried.

We heard footsteps and soon the door opened and me and sahar stumbled forward.

Meredith looked at us in disgust with teary eyes and left.

"Kelsey? Sahar? What are you guys doing here?" Ethan sounded annoyed.

"Well. . . You see," I didn't know what to say.

"I was coming to see Grayson. He asked to meet me for something." Sahar lied.

"Well Grayson's not here so you can come back later."

"We should get going then." Sahar looked at me.

"You go ahead, I'm gonna talk to Ethan for a bit." I gave her my keys.

She left and there I stood before Ethan with sweaty palms and a fast beating heart.

"What's wrong Ethan?"

He sat down and looked at me.

"Lately I've been feeling lost. Meredith thinks that I feel this way because I'm in love with you. . ."

I wanted to say something but I couldn't.

"And it's true. Not that I'm feeling lost because I'm in love with you. . . But, I am in love with you."

My heart was beating fast and all I could say was,

"I have to go."

I got up and walked to the door, ready to leave but Ethan pulled me back and kissed me.

My mind was so in it, but my heart wasn't.

"Ethan. . ." I pulled away. " you just ended with Meredith, we should give it some time."
