Two days later, Aria found herself lounging across the hood of a car, watching on as Archie and Jughead prepared to race the Ghoulies. One hand was holding a red solo cup while the other lazily scrolled through her phone, Reggie's arm slinked around her waist with Cheryl on his other side.

"ALL RIGHT, LETS DO THIS" The sound of Tall Boy's voice suddenly caught their attention, him standing in the middle of the ring of cars and bikes. She looked up in interest and slipped her phone into the back pocket of her shorts, her eyes briefly glancing over the groups of people around her, when they landed on Sweet Pea. He was leant against his bike, mid-conversation with Fangs, although his gaze was fixed past Fangs' shoulder, on Aria. The deep brown of his eyes seemed to darken at the sight of Reggie's arm about her waist, attempting to appear unbothered, although the distaste in his eyes was hard to rid himself of.

"Not the kind of drag race I ever imagined myself going to, but at least the guys are hot." Kevin commented, Aria laughing softly and dropping Sweet Pea's gaze, suddenly uncomfortable in Reggie's grasp.

"LET'S DO IT" Tall Boy's voice echoed out once again, everyone immediately clapping and cheering, Reggie leaning back and hollering loudly. "Get these cars up in a row!"

"Aria." Cheryl caught the girl's attention, hopping down from the hood of the car. Aria nodded and joined her, mildly glad that she had an excuse to leave Reggie, linking her arm through the redhead's as they strutted towards the road, the gazes of two opposing boys glued to the brunette.

"You're not so subtle with the staring, Sweet Pea." Toni commented, raising her eyebrows and glancing between him and Aria.

"I'm not staring." He denied, turning to face Toni. "And, please, like you haven't been checking out the redhead since we got here."

"Hey, that's not what we're focusing on right now." Toni frowned and sipped her beer. "What we're focusing on is that you totally have a crush on the Northside princess."

"She's...not bad." He chose his words carefully, Toni immediately smirking and rolling her eyes.

"Considering you want to murder most people, especially Northsiders, you may as well have just crowned her the most gorgeous woman on earth." She rolled her eyes.

"I want to murder Northsiders, sure, but she's...different. She came to our school to try and help us not get arrested, she doesn't have her head up her ass." He pointed out. "But it doesn't mean I have a crush on her."

"Well, whatever, I need to go raise the flag. You can come and stare at her a little more if you want." Sweet Pea shoved her shoulder as she stood from her position in leaning against the bike, simply met with laughter while she walked away.

Meanwhile, Cheryl was attempting to convince Aria to raise the flag 'in honour of the Northside' alongside her, while Aria laughed and denied her, getting a refill of her beer. "Cheryl, a 'double flag-raise' is not a thing." She pointed out, rolling her eyes.
