"And where do you think you're going dressed like that?" Melissa raised her eyebrows at Aria's outfit, taking in the glittered black bralette, along with a full-black theme of thigh-high boots and high-waisted short shorts.

"To the Whyte Wyrm." Aria smiled simply, grabbing her keys and slipping them into her pocket.

"Aria, I don't want you spending too much time there."

"Oh, but here's the thing, I don't care." She shrugged it off, a fake smile still plastered across her lips. "I believe it was you who told me to find out everything about my father from them, and by blood, I'm half-Serpent, too."

"Don't speak to me like that." Her mother glared at her in anger.

"I'm just stating facts." Aria shrugged. "Now, I'm going. Don't wait up." She opened the front door, the breeze of the evening air cool on her skin.

"Aria, don't you dare-" She didn't hear the end of her mother's sentence, due to the door slamming behind her as she descended the steps of her porch. Honestly, she didn't care much for what her mother thought of her actions at the moment - the woman had done a lot worse, and both of them knew it. Besides, she had been lying to her about her father for years, Aria had decided it was time for some long-overdue justice, and this was barely the start of what she had planned. In the meantime, she was going to spend time with the Serpents, and enjoy herself for once.

"Aria! You made it!" Jughead greeted happily, appearing at the girl's side as she was speaking to Toni.

"Wouldn't miss it for the world." Aria grinned, turning to hug him warmly. "Everything going okay so far?"

"In full swing." He nodded, laughing.

"You look nervous." Toni commented from her position behind the bar, wiping the polished surface down with a rag. "You guys want a drink?"

"No, I'm good. I'm just getting a lay of the land." Jughead shook his head, turning back to scanning the room. Exactly what he was scanning for, even he wasn't entirely sure of, but he wanted to know of everything that was happening tonight, and nothing was going to distract him from doing so. At least, not for the moment, it wasn't.

"Screw him, I'll have four shots of that cheap, strong shit." Aria grinned, turning back to Toni, who rolled her eyes and laughed but did as she said, pouring the shots in front of her.

"I must say, Northsider, I never expected you to go full badass like this." Toni commented, raising her eyebrows and glancing at Aria's current outfit.

"Please, I take any opportunity I can get." Aria grinned and downed the first shot with ease.

"So it's not that you're trying to impress Sweet Pea, right?" Toni raised her eyebrows with a smirk, causing the brunette to almost choke on the burning aftertaste of the tequila.
