I was snapped out of my thoughts. when I heard someone honking at me, I look up to see Jason driving a red Ford truck. He had concern look on his face, he stopped the truck. " get in I'll drive you home" he said smiling, I glared at him "go away, I am capable of walking home by myself" I stated Jason frowned "please Alex just get in the truck I'll drive you home, then leave you alone I promise."
I stared at him for a minute then sighed. I walked in front of the truck, I open the passenger door and went inside. I shut the door close, Jason started the engine and continue driving down the road. I sat in the seat and quietly held my backpack.Jason pov-
I glanced at Alex he was twitching. I frowned I didn't know what to do, the drive was quiet. I pulled out my box of cigarettes " you want one?" I asked he stared at the cigarette box, " I don't smoke" he answered I nod and pulled out a cigarette I placed it between my lips. I stuff the box back into my pocket, I grab my lighter from the cup holder and lit the cigarette.
"So where do you live?" I asked he stared out the window "go down Hamilton street there's a junkyard on the left" he answered quietly. I nod and followed his direction, we soon arrive at the Junkyard. I stared at Alex home in shocked, there was long vintage trailer it was old and some of the metal was rusted. I parked the truck by the sidewalk, who would let their kid live here? I look at Alex he muttered a thank you.Alex pov-
Before I could open the door I felt bad. Maybe I should let him stay over for a little bit since he drove me home " you can stay over if you want" I said calmly, even though I wanted to be alone Jason smiled.
"I wouldn't mind staying here," he said "it gives me time away from parents " he mutters angrily.
I open the door and walked to the junkyards entrance. I glance at Jason he stepped out of his truck and lock it, he walked towards me and we began to walk into the junkyard. " so this is where you live?" he asked I nod " it's a nice" he said. I faked a laugh you say its nice but this place is a living hell, we walk past the trailer I blankly stared at it. I didn't want to go there my dad could be inside.
