Once again...Life goes on

Sadness...

Kate, my daughter, my beautiful child; I can't believe, I, I lost her!

I lost my everything in this life.

Why to live? Why bother staying in this world? I have no one, I lost everyone I loved, my husband my daughter, even Alec; It must be a nightmare!!

I,I must be sleeping, I will wake up, I will see her next to me, I will hug her, she will be happy with Alec; I am sure IT IS JUST A BAD DREAM......

I woke up about 11 Am, I was on the floor, my cell phone was next to me, what happened? I wondered;

Oh! Kate! my baby! Alec! the accident! I must had cried myself to sleep...

I should go Rome, I should be where they were, I have to know what happened!

I grabbed my phone trying to call the number they called me from, but just before i pressed  call, my phone rang; IT WAS THEM!!! 

I answered eagerly "Katherine, honey are you and Alec Ok?" I actually was hoping to hear her voice, but a strange voice answered me instead

"Excuse me madame; I am Dr.Armando; I am the doctor who treated Alec and Katherine after that car accident they had, we checked their ID and the cell phone, it was you they called last, I mean when they had the accident" He said with a calm voice.

"How are they now? Is everything Ok? Can I talk to them please?" I asked impatiently 

 " I am sorry I should inform you, they are in the intensive care unite; well thank God we could save them from dying; Alec is actually in a stable state he has just fractures all over his body, his ribs, his right arm and foot, don't mention the scars" he posed

"But Katherine" his voice was a bit trembling "She has no scars at all; not even a tiny one!  but she was on a coma; her brain stopped because of the shock; I guess Alec protected her with his body; he truly loved her" He said

"So will everything be Ok?" I asked hoping the answer will be a YES

"I am sorry ma'am; the guy I am positively sure he will be better soon, but for the girl I can promise nothing, but i should tell you that her case is hopeless, I am sorry"

I didn't reply; I was in a shock; my baby might die!

"Madam" the voice said "will you be here in the next 24 hours? I bet they need you" he said

"Yes" I replied; still shocked

And the conversation ended.

I don't know what happened after that, but the sure thing I  know, I was in the hospital sitting next to my babies...
