Once again...Life goes on

Tum hi ho <3

we sat in a near caffe, because none of us knows the place, 

about 15 minutes passed and nothing but silence; a killing silence;

I wanted to break that silence no matter what

"So, I see you are married" I said pointing to the ring in his hand

he forced a smile "yes, I am"

and the silence prevailed once again

"any kids?" I asked

"Just a little boy; Noah" he answered briefly

and the silence goes on

"Ok, enough with the stupid question" I said with a firm voice "Just tell me all about Noah"

He looked at me, and the sadness in his eyes grew bigger and bigger

"Jake" I said putting my hand over his "Please tell me everything, I can't see sadness in your eyes, while you are thinking of him, I really can't take it, just tell me"

my heartbeats were going crazy, the bad feeling was growing bigger and bigger, I felt thirsty so I drank some water

"Amy" he said asking for my attention, his voice trembling "Look Noah loves you, he really does and everything he did was just to protect you," he posed

my eyes widened as I looked at him,

what does he mean he did all of that to protect me? note the sarcasm;

"Don't look at me like that, you have to trust me, I told him it was wrong but he is real stubborn"

I forced a smile as he continued 

"After that romantic night you spent together, Noah started feeling dizzy sometimes with no reasons, his hear hurt him a lot; his father got so worried about him, he was afraid his son was going to die with the same illness of his mother and his grandmother; they both had brain cancer;"

"What?" I said in a chock, "please tell me he didn't die, please"

"Amy please don't interrupt me again, just listen;" I nodded

"Ok then, we took him to the hospital, he did an X-ray test, all this was during the week he didn't assist to class, and you saw me and asked me about him"his eyes were red, filled with tears; while mine well, I was crying and breathing heavily;

"well the X-ray showed that he had brain tumor but we wasn't sure if it was cancer or no, but since his family had history with the disease, even the doctor seemed sure it was cancer, but he still had to do a  biopsy to know weither it is cancer or no;"

he posed to drink some water, his tears were now falling from his eyes 

"He felt really bad back then, first he was afraid and second he was going to leave his dad and me alone;he was going to leave you alone, just after he told you he loves you;

He sat in front of me on the couch crying and wailing, he couldn't do this to you, he didn't want you to suffer the lost of a dear one, he didn't want you to feel bad and sorry for the rest of your life, he wanted you to go on and forget about him he wanted you to love and feel loved, to have your own family, your own kids, he was sure that you will never forget about him and live happy if you knew he is sick and going to die;

so he decided that it was his duty to make you hate him; he asked my sister for that; I was against his plan but I could do nothing, I tried to convince him that it is not the way to deal with the problem but it was no use,

 so the one you saw him with that day was no one but my baby sister; he was sure for some reason that you will see him, that you will turn and catch him with my sister and he was right"

 "T-That blond girl was, was your sister, he wanted me to hate him just because he wanted me to move on and live my life? STUPID!!!" 

I just couldn't stop crying and wailing, I tried to stand tall I couldn't my legs were weak

"what happened with him next?" I said trying to act strong and get on my feet; "Is he still alive? Just tell me what happened I can't stand this"

"Amy sit" he said in his trembly voice holding my hand; "After he did what you know more than me; he waited the biopsy test result preparing himself to die; What made him so sure I don't know; I tried to contact you, I couldn't, I called you once, but they said you moved away;

Noah always prayed that you will have a happy life;

one week later, the results showed that it wasn't cancer but a tumor that can be cured"

"Thank God" I said with relief"well, after he knew that he couldn't stop himself from crying; he even tried to suicide but we could save him in the last minutes;

his life was realy bad, he tried to focus on his studies,he studied hard trying to forget you believing you are having a happy life;HE LOVES YOU AMY"

"So you are saying, he is still single? he didn't get married? or Uh,.."

"No Amy, he didn't, you were always the one for him; THE ONE AND ONLY"

I don't know hoe but I found myself walking on the road, where was Jake, I don't really know

I was lost in my thoughts, I was lurching as a drunk; It was really hard on me to know all that

I blamed him for every bad thing that happened to me while he was only protecting me of being sad?

I believed he cheated on me, I , I doubted his love for me, that can't be true

Why? What and how?

my thoughts were interrupted with the sound of people screaming and a vehicle heading towards me

BUMMMMMM

"MOM" Kate screamed,

"Thank God, you survived the Coma" the doctors said
