Save Me?

Chapter 1

KELLYS POV

I woke up to my annoying dog barking at me for no reason.

"What do you want max? It's 6am and you're going to wake up Madelyn." I told my dog. Madelyn's my best friend. She's been my best friend since kindergarten. Wow I know right? I don't know why I talk to my dog. It's not like he understands me. But seriously? 6am and I have a flight tomorrow.

The people that own the apartment place are kicking us out and we don't know why.

My brother Grant tried asking them why we have to move and they just said "because of problems".

What problems? There's three of us and max.

"Well thanks max. Now I'm up and I can't fall back asleep." I again said to my dog. Don't get me wrong I do love him. But 6am is not the time I want to wake up.

I decided to get dressed for the flight. I'm not going to look nice, it's just a flight to stupid Virginia.

I put on my grey sweats and a baseball tee with the word 'bebe' on it. I then pulled on my black vans.

Once I was done with my clothes I went into the bathroom and put my hair in a messy bun.

No make up.

"KELLY! MAX WONT SHUT UP!" I heard from upstairs. Great a Madelyn without sleep is not a good sight.

"It's time to get up anyways" I said while I looked at the clock on the wall. It read 7:15. Did it really take me that long? I guess I sat in bed for awhile.

I hear footsteps coming down the stairs. I couldn't help but laugh at what I saw.

"Morning Prince Charming" I said trying to contain my laugh.

"Do I really look that bad?" grant asked.

"Half of your hair is flat." That's it I couldn't hold it anymore.

"Don't laugh I'll be right back" he said going up the stairs.

That's when sleeping beauty arrived.

"Aww don't you look pretty." She said probably mocking my outfit.

"It's just the airport. Why are you so dressed up?" I asked her. She's wearing a dress. A dress to the airport. To sit on a plane for who knows how many hours.

"You never know. There could be cute guys." She replied. Maddie always looked for cute guys and knowing her, she always got them.

"Seriously Maddie?" I asked.

"Yes it's a habit." She said grabbing the cereal.

Even though she's crazy I love her with all my heart.

"At least you don't have to try." She said. Was she referring to me?

"Huh?" I asked still confused.

"All the cute guys love you. You don't even have to try. Remember Josh Harding?" She said. Josh Harding was my old crush. She knew how much I liked him. Then one day I lost interest. And that's when he liked me. Funny huh?

"Uh no. And yes I do." I replied while I sat down next to her at the table. She was now eating her cereal.

"It's true Kelly!" she said trying to convince me.

"What's true?" Grant said walking down the stairs.

"Ugh" I moaned.

"That Kelly gets all the guys and doesn't have to try." Madelyn said smiling at me.

"Oh yah it's true. You might not date them Kell but you do pick em up" he said. I hate it when he calls me "kell". Mom called me that and only mom.
