Chapter 7

Maddies POV

It's been about 2 hours since Kelly left.

"Nash can we go find Kelly? I'm worried, she doesn't know her way around here." I asked him pulling away. He's a great kisser.

"Carter said he is going to, but if you want to we can." he replied. WAIT. CARTER?! No it can't be. He's somewhere else in the world.

"Oh ok." I replied. I love her but I love this moment too.

"Lets go upstairs." he said pulling me to the stairs. I nodded and we left.

Carter's POV

I can't believe that was Kelly. I haven't seen her for 2 years. That's when the break up happened.

We had been dating for 3 months and then I found out the news. I found out I was moving. Across the country.

I had to tell her the news. I just didn't know how. I loved her and I still do.

I went to her house the day I found out. I was leaving the next day. I didn't want to break up with her but I had to. I didn't want to hold her back with a long distance relationship. I told her that we had to break up and that I'm moving. She broke out into tears. This is the worst time to break up with her, her mom just died and her father left when she was young. All she had at the time was her best friend Madelyn, her brother Grant, and me. And I was leaving.

I never got to tell her that I still loved her and that I was doing it for her. She never gave me a chance to.

I ran to Lauren, my best friend besides Matt, and told her that I had to go find Kelly. She just nodded and continued dancing.

I left the house and ran down the street. I found her. But it wasn't just her....it was Matt. They were kissing.
