Chapter 10

Matts POV

I sat there holding her in my arms and just admiring her beauty. I mean I know I haven't known her that long but I really like her. I know it's crazy to think I love her already but it's like we are meant to be. 

I heard my parents open the door. "Matthew we're home!" they yelled.

"Okay, be down in a sec!" I replied. I have to wake up Kelly.

I slightly shook her arm. "Kells wake up. My parents are home."

I kept shaking her until she woke up. "Hey sunshine." I said smiling.

"How long was I asleep?"  she asked concerned.

"Only an hour." I replied. She sat up and looked at the time. It is 3 pm.

"Shit. My brother's going to be so worried" she said concerned as she looked for her shoes.

"Do you need a ride?" I asked.

"No, its fine. Ill walk." she replied.

"Well you're not going to walk alone." I replied smiling. Since her house is only a couple down from mine its not that far. She smiled, grabbed her stuff, and we walked down stairs.

"Are you staying for dinner?" my mom asked Kelly as we walked down the stairs.

"Oh, no I don't think so. Thank you for the offer though." she replied with a smile.

"Aww did Matthew scare you away?" my step dad asked.

"Paul." I moaned as Kelly laughed and shook her head 'no'. I walked her outside and we strted towards her house.

"Sorry about that." I said.

"Its fine Matt, youre lucky." she said as she looked down at her feet.

"How so?"

"You have a nice family." She replied, "I never had that."

"Kells im sorry." I said as we arrived at her door. After I said that she looked upset. "Did I say something wrong?"

"No its just...my mom called me that." she replied. I didn't know what to say at this point. I went to apologize once again but she walked inside. "Good night Matt." she said as she closed the door.

"Good night." I whispered into the night.
