"this is fucked up." I whispered, my feet dangeling out the window of the car.

"Tough luke Luke, you did this to yourself." My Mum replied as she turned into the parking lot of the school.

"i was fine at my old school."

She laughed, "If you say so kid."

She pulled her mini van in front of what looked the main door of the building.

"Out you go" i heard her say

I rolled my eyes and flung the door open, grabbing my bag from the car floor that was scattered with countless candy wrappers and beer bottles.

"While Im gone, how about you tell your dick ass of a boyfriend to clean up my side of the car." I said with a smirk.

after getting all of my stuff from the office, i began making my way to my class.

"where the fuck am i even going next" i whispered.

There was a girl in front of me, she was looking at the floor and she seemed to be humming some sort of song.

I tried to pull out my schedule , which ended up with my schedule out and all of my things scattered on the floor.

"hey uh, do ya need some help there?" i heard a soft voice say.

I looked up and choked a bit, she was so pretty.

i realized i couldnt speak, so instead a nod came.

she walked over with a smile and bent down and grabbed some pencils and my pre-calc notebook that were on the floor previously

she handed them to me and I put them into my handbag.

"uh, do you think you could help me find my class?" i asked, i hoped i wasnt sounding rude or anything

she smiled and motioned me to go, her nail polish was black with white at the top, it was pretty. she was pretty.

"so are you new here?" i heard her ask

i nodded again, "yeah im a senior" oh god i was sending off that new kid vibe wasnt i. shit.

she laughed, "youre a dumbass then oh my god" fuck what did i do wrong now

she pointed upwards and said "the senior floor is upstairs, this is the junior floor."

cringing, i pulled out my schedule from my pocket and fumbled it open. the top of the page told me right where i needed to be and i wasnt there.

"shit im sorry" i then realized i still didnt know where to go "do you think you could uh"

i guess she caught on because she inturupted, "yeah, lets go" with a smile.

we began walking up the stairs and i decided i should learn this nice girls name, she looked younger then me, a freshman or junior maybe.

"so whats your name kiddo" i said awkwardly

"Niah, you?"

Niah, such a different name but it was pretty.

"Well Niah, just call me Luke." i said with a smile
