hands stuffed in my pockets, i shuffled down the street, not paying any attention to my surroundings.

i couldnt stop thinking about what happened before.

im so dumb i probably scared her, like im just this creepy senior who cant seem to leave her alone and then i go and give her my number like some absoulute creep?

the cement sidewalk made my converse echo through the tunnel i was dragging myself through, and for the first time in my walk home i looked up.

the sun peered through the clouds, it was starting to set so the sky was lined with a beautiful peachy purple colour. the trees that surrounded the outside of the tunnel rose high, some so high that it was hard to see the top of them.

I sat down on the side of the road and placed my head in my palms, letting out a faint sigh.

I think i was starting to fall for the girl in the hallway.
